View Full Version : Did Bea emotionally bully Freddie?

Her behaviour to him has been unjustly horrible. She completely understood the impact of her words to him and the timing of her attack on him in front of the others was designed to have maximum inpact. The nature of what she said is completely unfair, especially in the context of how she has behaved since she went in there and all she has said.
This regular line of "I am so upset with what you said to me" to various guys is a complete power move on her part. She starts so many conflicts,. but when anyone (especially guys) make any response, she turns it on them to make them feel weak & insecure. It's such a weapon for someone (especially a woman to a man) to suggest that s/he has MADE them feel upset or some other negative emotion.

Yup... she's a ****ing bitch.
Loved the way Freddy finally realised what a cow she was... wish he'd done it ages ago.. and told her to piss off the way she told him to piss off earlier...

Anyone who HATES freddie will say she didnt.
But sane people who arent clouded by hatred for a housemate will see that she did.
That was disgusting to watch.

Spot on. She plays on all the male HM's. She hasn't attempted the same thing on any other female HMs.

I thought she was abhorent!!!!
Freddie didn't once fail to support her in her many petty arguements and as soon as she worked out that the numbers were looking better on the other side of the fence she hopped right over and couldn't drop him fast enough.
She wasn't even happy with that though.
She had to pledge her allegiance to Lisa and co by waging war against Freddie character in full view of her new 'friends'.
She really is a VILE harpy!!!!

I agree with that as well. She is like a rat deserting what she sees as a sinking ship. She is a vile human being.

If somebody spoke to you like that would you consider yourself to be emotionally bullied? He didn't have to react the way he did. Its only a gameshow as Marcus said.

I so agree. We have now seen for ourselves what a masterly job Bea is making of bullying Freddie into a pulp. She must be punished, even evicted, before she does any more damage.
If it had been a man doing the same to a woman I am certain BB would have acted by now.

The word BULLY seems to get thrown around a lot on BB. Personally I believe grown adults need to stand up for themselves. Act like a doormat and thats how you'll be treated.
Freddy dared touch a nerve with Bea and she's out for revenge. Plus it suits her tactically to distance herself from Freddy and this gives her a good excuse.
And Freddy himself is not blameless. Laughing in Lisa's face could be considered bullying too. If you insist on using that word.

bea is disgusting. after how she treated freddy today, I feel sick at the sight of her.
i literally want to punch her in the face and no woman has ever disgusted me so much. I don't class her as a woman. I don't even class her as human.

I am with you!!!
I was backing her for the first week or two, and I only started to change my opinion of her when she went after DAVID and called HIM a "bully." I could finally see that she was an attention seeking narcissist who didn't care about the feelings of others! And I am no big fan of David, but she was way out of order with him.
With Freddie it truly is scary, seeing her turn on someone she was close to and liked. And the same day she was working out how to crucify David she turned on Freddie because HE was being NEGATIVE???
She totally talks down to people, whines and keeps saying how "upset" she is, sounding as if she'll cry, to get sympathy, but she knows how strong she is, and yet plays innocent. I'm thinking: SOCIOPATH.

Well if someone was twisting everything i said like that and would not listen when i tried to speak, I would likely just knock them out if i am honest.
But i dont have problems with my anxiety like freddie does. If I did, and was worked up like he was, and they still kept going at me , then yes, I would say say it was emotional bullying.

I hate Halfwit... but what Bea said was a lil OTT.
Hardly emotional bullying though, a grown man should have thicker skin.

The reason freddie reacted as he did was he knew he had blown it ,Bea had outed him ,he was trying to grab a few pity votes
he deserved it, he was stupid for not seeing what evil she is, her voice made me have panic attacks on day one lol

Freddie always seems to sob that little bit louder, when theres people in earshot.
I thought Bea has been a bitch, but watching freddies theatrical display of passive aggression, I think theyre as bad as eachother

in an isolated environment, the things she was saying have a big impact. telling him he's negative over and over again...

Couldn't agree more.
What also really showed her up for me was her reaction to Rodrigo's genuine feeling towards Freddie. She immediately went on a damage limitations exercise.
She then tried to convince Freddie that she had not said what she had. Next when she realised just how affected he was by what she had previously said, she pounced on the red herring of him saying that her voice now caused him anxiety, to go to the group and paint the situation as though he had been nasty to her by mocking her voice. While Marcus was sent in to deal with Freddie's outrageous behaviour of telling people why he was upset when asked.
The descriptive verb I am looking for here has 4 letters & starts with a"C".

i kept wishing for him to gain his power again.
he gave his power to her. he made a mistake but only a complete witch would use that as a weapon. she used his own power against him and that is abolutely disgusting.
she basically saw how freddy talks with people. he carefully thinks about what he is going to say, she took his power by not letting him talk. then constantly barraged him with negative phrases. she cut him off halfway through every sentence. she took his position as her friend and abused that friendship and trust and tore his soul apart.
I can't wait to see him pull himself together. he will be very different and I think he will find a lot of strength from this.
Vicky.

I am a woman and I sure would whack her one if I saw her in the street, at least I'd do a Dennis (spitgate BB9).
I thought I hated Noirin, but she wasn't picking on anyone lesser than herself, talking DOWN to someone incessantly, or acting as if she was being bullied then doing it herself!
I'd take Noirin any day over Bea. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

I experienced panic attacks when i first went abroad.
there are a number of symtoms that can occur and not always the same symtoms for different people.
pain in the chest and abdomen can be a symtom. extreme loss of bloodflow fromthe limbs can occur. any of the symtoms of chock can result. giddiness from hyperventilating can occur.
sometimes with such pain in the gut or chest, can cause a person to wretch.

We have see how Bea can be, the difference here, is that Freddie thought of her as a very close friend they made a bond as he thought ( not knowing it was a game plan of Bea) Yes we have seen Freddie dish it out as you say, we have also seen Freddie have to listen to Bea slag evry HM off with her big interlectual words, so she has had a cheek to go on at Freddie, that's what he is finding so frustrating
She is awful, smug dangerous, and when she spoke half of what she said she should have looked in the mirror and said

I believe she did emotionally bully him...It was ok at first when she called him out on a couple of things but she kept on & on with the whole negativity thing. Look at the state the poor guy ended up in. The wose part is she did it all for the cameras. He didn't deserve it.
