All the plans for the new WTC building are on a website.

The new design is possibly the most advanced building in the world today. If you go to the website and read all the text in the different sections I'm sure you will agree.

It looks like a huge rocket with a pyramid on top...

When you load up the site you may be asked to install Flash 6 - just say yes to this option.

You can locate the website at

What do you think?

I think it's really nice they are planting a tree for each life lost on September 11th and they are dedicating big areas as a memorial.

Even though I must admit that I don't like the design very much, I wholeheartedly agree that this is wonderfully positive idea and I think the planting of 2833 trees, one for each person who died with a plaque showing a name and photograph, is very lovely and poignant.

I 100% agree with the concept of this, even if I do not actually like the design on the building itself.

I was also a bit spooked by the 'Twin Peaks' soundtrack playing in the background.

Thanks for the info Mark. I don't particularly like the look of the building really - it's a bit too 'Pompidou Centre' for my taste. All pipes and tubes etc, on the outside. I like the idea though of building another WTC, and the planting of trees for each life lost is a wonderful tribute.

I suppose the design make's it safe, which is what matter's at the end of the day. Interesting to read about the sonic's that can repel aircraft, that does sound like science fiction.
