Marcus and Halfwit face eviction from the Big Brother House on Friday. After the housemates heard that they are lucky ones facing the chop, most of the House settled down to a bit of snipping about Halfwit.

In a conversation with Marcus and Siavash, Halfwit revealed that he's very confident that he will be staying in the House and doesn't think he will get nominated the following week. Meanwhile, the rest of the House didn't agree and continued to gossip about him.

In the early evening, the housemates were called to the Living Room to watch a horse race on screen for the Jockey Task, as part of the Great Britain Task. Unfortunately none of the horses that the housemates had bet on won the race. And so, you've guessed it - they failed, oh dear.

Halfwit was given the very British Task of holding a note on the bagpipes for 30 seconds. He managed to blow successfully and won £80 towards this week's shopping budget. Marcus and Halfwit aka the Bog Snorkelers still had the laborious task of roaming their way through the bog in the Garden every time they heard the song "We'll Keep A Welcome In the Hillside".

Elsewhere Rodrigo talked to Halfwit and told him why he nominated him. He said it was because of the rule-breaking. Halfwit said he didn't take it personally.

Bea and Lisa had a natter about who they wanted to leave on Friday. Lisa said she wanted Halfwit to go, as he is "a thorn in my side for no reason." Bea agreed.

Later, Bea headed to the Diary Room. She told Big Brother that it was a huge "sigh of relief" that David wasn't up. She talked about Marcus and Siavash creating a negative identity for her and says she hopes she isn't misrepresenting herself.

If he stays (likely) he'll be smugger than Mr Smug who went to Smug town and visited Smugville on the way and never came back. Start laying heavily on Mr Smug on Betfair at any price as no chance of winning now

Why do the British always confuse a quiet confidence with smugness....? ...in America confidence is a virtue...here we have to destroy the quietly confident......no wonder TIM HENMAN never won Wimbledon, poor lamb.

This is very true. British people will show huge support for Freddie when he is being victimised for example during the first few weeks regarding Lisa's gang. However, once that person shows some confidence, British people sh%t all over him. Its quite sad really, but a trend!

You mean he's Mr 100% and can predict Lisa gone last week and him and Bea would be an item outwith the house?

He will almost certainly survive this week but I think he is misguided in thinking he will not be up next week. My guess at the moment would be that next week will see Freddie up against Siavash.

I'd rather him gone this week tbh. This, as well as his whole thing with Bea is doing him no favours. People will become more and more negative to him the more he keeps saying "I'm staying".

Plus, he doesn't seem stable to me.

Why does Bea suddenly care so much about Dave? I thought she hated him.

Come on, he's been right most of the time about who's going and they've got little else to talk about. Lisa's hardly popular, so I guess she was pretty low on the voting total.

He doesn't seem very confident, let alone smug to be honest.
