If you watched the LF, the ONLY reason they put it back is because they were afraid of getting caught.

They STILL stole it. And the fact that they stole if from Freddie makes it doubly bad because of the tensions between Bea and Freddie. If they had stole it from Sophie, I might have believed it was a joke. But Bea said some really nasty things about Freddie as excuses for stealing his cider.

Bea didn't feel bad about it....Because she wants to nick it again today.. in a conversation with David today

Bea "Did I tell you we nicked it last night and we put it back?"
