View Full Version : Bea A genuine post regarding Bea

I'm not 'trolling' or particularly looking for an argument but I do think Bea has been victim of unfair judgments and very very over the top reactions to some of her actions.
Firstly; she did not give Freddie a panic attack he gave it to himself. She has not manipulated him or employed evil pyschological techniques on him in an attempt to 'break' him, Freddie is just weak. It didn't affect Marcus when she tried to employ her 'evil' powers on him, he just shook it off.
Secondly; when she first came in I do firmly believe she attached herself to Freddie because he was the favourite. Bea isn't stupid and I believe that it wouldn't be without real reason that she would pick an argument with him and seperate herself from him. I do think that Marcus and Freddie have been horrible to her and in some way victimised her. For example, when Freddie was laughing at her distress and came running out to confront her even though it was non of his business. Even Marcus saw that he was acting like a total tool and told him to go back to bed.
Thirdly; the hypocrisy of people is astounding. Freddie has a 'panic attack' and all of a sudden if you dare suggest it's attention seeking or that it was funny you're a vile person. Yet these same people are quick to judge Bea and say that her tears or distress if fake and that she's playing the victim. Marcus was saying exactly the same thing to Bea last night (i.e. you're really negative) that Bea said to Freddie to set him off on his 'panic attack' but Bea isn't allowed to be upset about it? Has anyone considered that she might genuinely be feeling the pressure and really not enjoying the way they are treating her. 3 weeks with Freddie would be enough to reduce me to tears as well.
Bea is not 'evil' or a 'sociopath'; maybe she's a bit of a bitch but I don't see her as being much worse than the other people in there. I have honestly not seen her act in a totally inappropriate manner all I have seen is massively over the top reactions of some people in the house. The only thing Bea is guilty of is having picked a fight with the forum favourites. And before you forget NO ONE in the house likes Freddie; maybe Freddie fans might like to consider that he's just not really a very nice or likeable person.

LOL, you're entitled to your opinion but I strongly disagree with you. Freddie isn't, wasn't and never will be my favorite and I think her behavior towards him was vile. As was her behaviour towards David & Noirin who are also not very popular HMs.

I disagree, Bea is 2 faced and very argumentitive, she bitches about people behind their backs then the next minute shes their best mates, take nominations for example, she told Lisa "no im not nominating David" then off she goes straight into the diary room and....nominates David.

All I saw was Marcus telling her some home truths she couldn't handle so she decides to throw her toys around.
It's fine for her to go around calling people negative and shred Freddie based on his behaviour and actions but when the same happens to her in a much nicer way I might add. She throws down the victim card.

That's just clever gameplaying tactics
After last week she must have known she was vulnerable to being nominated but by forming alliances even through lying she managed to avoid that and secure what is a good result for her.

Bea is quite sadistic.......She kicks people when they are down. To say in front of fellow housemates while arguing with Freddie that he is not as intelligent as he thinks he is......Is a very humilating statement made with cruel intent.....To move her bed as far away as posible a humiliating kick in the teeth.....She knows how to turn the knife into someone that is quite sensitive.......Quite cold blooded and deliberate to achieve what ever her game plan is.......And pretend crys when she is verbally cornered.....
I personally cannot agree with the OP conclusions or should I say excuses regarding her attitude and behavour.....
Cannot see much to like as a person......(However it is a game show and one must reserve judgment).......But I love her as BB housemate for the drama she provokes......

But she was just telling Freddie the truth!!! And everyone's on Freddie's side now. And might I add that it's not just Marcus; she's right when she says that Marcus and Halfwit have both been calling her negative, wearing her down etc. Even if sometimes it's a joke calling her a moaner etc. or wen Marcus said she pretends to be positive but everything she says is negative.
I agree that being called negative is hardly something to be upset about but it's the double standards that annoy me.
Freddie gets upset about something trivial = horrible, Bea is the devil.
Bea gets upset about the same thing = attention seeking

I agree. A good post.
For weeks people have been quick to jump on me if I dare say a bad comment about Freddie. Yet if I agree with a comment about a h/mate they hate, they love it.
We all have our opinions. My opinion is that Freddie isn't a good person, isn't a nice person and because he has lived on mummy and daddy's money, leads a very sheltered life which leaves him 'weak' in dealing with situations most people would shrug off.
Just by watching him you can tell that he lacks a lot of 'everyday' social skills. There is a reason he has been up for eviction so many times. Remember we only see what BB want us to see of him, living with him would be 100% different.
And I've lived with people like Freddie, and they can be very, very annoying.
EDIT:
Regarding Bea. I also find her behaviour sometimes very unjust and unwarranted, and yes she can be a total bitch, but at the same time that does not excuse Freddie laughing at her when she is clearly feeling the pressure inside the house.

I dont its clever gameplaying at all, i think she is just a very miserable bitchy person, who thinks she can say whatever she likes to people but cant take it back, she trys to play the oh poor me im being picked on card but fails miserably.

I think it's completely ridiculous how some people are actually buying into her whole I'm the victim act when she's been doing the exact same thing she's accusing other people of doing.

Agreed except for the last line, I really don't find listening to someone whinge constantly entertaining!! And for the OP, Marcus didn't get as upset as Freddie because 1 - he's not as sensitive as Freddie and 2 - Freddie really liked Bea and thought there was a chance of them getting together at one point so of course he was going to take it alot harder!

Sorry, but I'm not going to bother reading your essay.
It has been proven that Bea is a cunning manipulate woman that always tries to portray herself in the right, when shes clearly in the wrong. She talks behinds peoples back and always complains about the simplest of things. She is everything that a young lady should not be.

Maybe her insults directed at Freddie were a bit over the top but she definitely has a point. Freddie has continuously been using his intellect to get one over on the other hm's. Using big words when he knows full well they're probably not going to understand what he's on about. Freddie has met his match in Bea who can pretty much verbally destroy him and he doesn't like it.
Maybe some of Bea's actions having been unjust and a little cruel but I haven't seen her act in a way that's evil or that's really much different to the way I see people act everyday. I think Freddie needs to toughen up.
And again, I don't see how her gameplan would be to pick a fight with the favourite. I don't think she'd do it unless he was actually being horrible to her.

I don't think bea is very nice, she is very manipulative. She came in really sweet and angelic now that mask has totally slipped. Halfwit really fancied her and thought she liked him too. But she had inside knowledge when she came in and associated her self with the favourite at that time. She's a good charector for the show even though she is a bit cruel! She's there for her 15 minutes.

Whether or not there was ever a chance or not was not my point, my point was he liked her romantically as well as a friend so he would have been more upset then Marcus. In the same way that Marcus was very upset over Noirin cos he liked her romantically!

.
I'm feeling your sincerity loomy, but you are not really dealing with the facts.
1. The way she talked to Freddie in bed a few nights ago, can be judged in isolation of everything else, on its own merits, sure they were talking about other things but the point of issue is for me that convo,
1. Her tone
2. Her refusal to obey normal principals of conversation (speak then let the other speak, listen to what was said and then respond to IT)
Instead she butted in, took Freddies carefully considered and to the point replies, and ignored them. that is not an opinion that is fact, and when someone does that they are without question, being unfair.
Not such a big crime a little unfairness i suppose, but when she at the end of a convo where she is doing that says.
"I think it is really unfair that you make me feel this way, i hope you are happy"
She shows that she is being more than unfair, and the whole thing takes on a more sinister slant.
I believe she is using pyschological pressure on him, and is asking you to partake by believing her to be the victim, thus evicting her main rival, Victim, ex friend, admirer. FREDDIE

I always appreciate someone who takes the time to write a detailed post ..and it was interesting
but i think the element you are missing in the above, is that you assume that Bea lost her popularity over her treatment of Freddie (and his then panic attack)...
I think you will find she was losing sympathy in the previous week with her buttergate argument with David....again a simple argument with David which she wouldn't let drop (telling everyone about it she could) until she decides to close the argument with her usual line "you're really upsetting me"...David and her then did "make up" but she was still actively campaigning to vote against him until the Marcus ciggygate blew up, followed by her annoyance with Freddie at his attempts to mediate and then being in Marcus' rebel "gang"....
I thought she was great at first when, I admit, her targets agreed with mine : Kenneth and Noirin.....but it was with the largely harmless David that she started to lose it...
She now firmly believes Freddie, Siavash and Marcus are against her in some gang mentality and she has clearly joined Lisa and David who days before she despised
she mixes clever character assasination with heightened emotional drama..its not very balanced or pleasant

Misinformed OP - almost every 'fact' distorted to come up with some kind of logical argument in favour of Bea.
Unfortunately, Bea is a very scary woman who has serious mental health issues (I actually fear for her in terms of her mental well-being when she comes out due to the reaction she is going to get). Fact. And no I won't be responding in this thread again, so say what you like....

Your points are good but I have to say I started to dislike her over the Noirin saga. I know Noirin was unpopular and her disgarding of Siavash was mean but I felt really bad for her over Bea's interference and nastiness towards her. The "protest" and the M t-shirt was particularly nasty and uncalled for.

Completely agree with everything you have said. literally just had an argument about it with a mate and said everything you have written. i have never been so passionate about a housemate ever but i completly relate to this girl. she has all the same beliefs as me, is the only intelligent one, and says what she sees which i find very admirable. she is a strong opinionated woman which i believe should be rewarded instead of critisised. can't stand freddie. what a thicko. oxford university my arse. just because you are intelligent on paper does not been you are clever which he is a great example of. he is completely incapable of having a conversation. you might get a "oo dude" and a stupid fake laugh, but thats it. socially retarded. i would be behaveing exactly the same way if i was caged in a house with all thoses morons. it is a tv show. i want to be entertained. sorry to say it but nice, boring, quiet people just don't do it for me, i need a little more stimulation than that. she has done nothing malicious in my point of view. Freddie is a complete arse licking creep and wont get away from Bea. if i was there i wouldnt even be able to look at him, thats how sickned i would be by him. he's a randy little mut who says anything to get into his next victims knickers.
get over it people. lets start supporting strength and not weakness. jeez it just seems like common sense to me.

I think Bea is neither stupid nor especially bright. She knows what she is doing, and she is very articulate. However, she thinks she has a foolproof strategy and has not taken into account how this will look to the viewer when she uses people.
We are all different and have varying degrees of sensitivity. Freddie is a sensitive guy and whether people think he was having a panic attack or whatever, imo he did appear to be in genuine distress and exremely stressed. For me, Bea's worst moment was her insensitivity to this and to move in for the kill so to speak, at that moment and mock his faltering speech. That is either cruel or grossly insensitive, I can see no other way of looking at it.
I think Freddie is just in completely the wrong environment, I would not be surprised if he has never watched the show, and remember, he was invited to audition by the producers who happened to meet him somewhere, he did not audition. And he seems to be analysing everything aloud as if he is part of an experiment, which ultimately of course, he is.
Bea is one of these people who justify over the top remarks with "I say things how they are" but in fact says things how she wishes to see them, and these remarks are rarely objective.

Aha ....you are right ..the t-shirt incident was childish and a first glimpse of her potential for spite........

I personally cannot agree with the OP conclusions or should I say excuses regarding her attitude and behavour.....
Cannot see much to like as a person......(However it is a game show and one must reserve judgment).......But I love her as BB housemate for the drama she provokes...... Its not often that I agree with the banana man but in this rare instance I could not have put it better.
Bea is an cold blooded bitch. She may well be a bit of a mild sociopath because she seems to enjoy hurting people. Classic sociaopathic behaviour.

Marcus was saying exactly the same thing to Bea last night (i.e. you're really negative) that Bea said to Freddie to set him off on his 'panic attack' but Bea isn't allowed to be upset about it? freddie and bea mirror each others behaviour. don't you think they would both be unbearable to live with 24/7. they are both full on and intense but lack real soul, both overeducated without any intuitive intelligence.:

Oh dear... you are clearly a very mixed-up person. You obviously aren't serious and are just trying to start an argument. Anyone who could 'completely relate to this girl' would have to have some seriously poor interpersonal skills!
