View Full Version : Alex & Spencer are up for Eviction.
Well Disco, so much for your statement about knowing who was up for eviction this week. The housemates have just been informed of the results of this weeks nominations and there are two housemates up for eviction and they are:
Alex & Spencer
Shame you were wrong about PJ though :bawling:
I'm absolutely gobsmacked by this!
Firstly, because I was convinced that PJ would be up for nomination this week, and secondly that two of the public's favourites are up for eviction so relatively early on.
I feel that for either Alex or Spencer to leave now will be a major blow to the series - they are the housemates that seem to attract the most attention, whether you love them or hate them. :spin2:
I've never really taken to Spencer (sorry Glitterbabe and others ) so I'd like to see him go on Friday. I have a feeling it could be a very close vote.

Ooooh dear! **** hitting fan now! Well not shocked really, just rather sad because I think the teeny bopper fan base will keep the shop assistant in.
I did predict Spencer, something about what the chap on BBLB said last night gave that away.
As I said earlier, Lee pointed out that the housemates don't know about how revolting PJ's behaviour has been.
Listen, an unpopular view I know, but Spencer going would be no loss whatsoever. Don't be surprised if he suddenly decides to rekindle the Kate offensive, worth a try eh, Spence? If he goes I can always watch paint drying as an exciting alternative.
For my part, you won't be surprised to hear me say: Use your wisdom grasshopper:

KEEP ALEX IN!!!!!!
I agree with you Kaz that these two are public favourites who you either hate or love. I disagree with you however on who should go. I am warming more to Alex, but have always liked Spencer - and no ROB I am not a teeny bopper, I do not fancy him, I just really like his laid back attitude and his comtempt of BB so want him to stay.
Another reason is that Jade is second in the TiBB support poll and if Spencer goes we will end up supporting her. God, that might even send me running back to TalkBB  I really couldn't stand it if we ended up supporting Jade. PLEEEEEEASE NOOOO!!!!!!!
BTW, I've just had an official press release through and they both got 4 votes each. It didn't go into any other details of who nominated who.
 ALEX MUST GO
 KEEP SPENCER IN
Alex is getting better and he doesn't annoy me any where near as much as he did a couple of weeks ago. He still annoys me for more than amuses me though.

Lee, we just are going to have to differ on this one.
Spencer has absolutely nothing that two three years and an expanding waistline won't wipe out. The strong silent bit doesn't wear with me. He's not deep, he's shallow and just very, very still.
Alex is the entertainment! Without him all is lost.
All hail Alex!

As most of you know I am well past my sell by date and I agree with LEE KEEP SPENCER IN!!!!!!!!!
I am so upset that both of them have been nominated this week. I like Alex wit and Spencer's laid back attitude.
It will be interesting to see just who nominated them.
How Sophie has managed to escape yet again is a mystery to me.
Another week of her awful voice droning on and on about HERSELF.
Watch her SMUG face now she probably thinks she's the bees knees.
Don't think i'll vote this week the same as I didn't when Paul and Helen were up for eviction together.

How annoying?!?!
The two best housemates are up to leave the house, I am so disappointed - I dont want any of them to go.
I love Spencers laid back attitude and I like his dry humour and I love Alexs moaning and natural humour!!!
I am not going to vote but I think deep down, I want Alex to stay - he was the one that has been providing me with the most entertainment!
But god, could the nominations BE any worse?:bawling::shocked::bawling::shocked::bawling :

To quote a line from the film "Cats and Dogs"
NOT GOOD!!!
The rules of engagement of opperation "Pay Back", the voting should be such that harm is minimised. Usually this means that the one suffering most will be exited.
In the beginning this was seen as Alex, due to his stressing out about hygene. Alex has managed to improve, especially now the influence of Sandy is gone.
Spencer Is not suffering that much, even though he is on the wrong side of those wretched bars (Sorry wonderful bars - We must not disagree with the focus group)
Looking at a wider picture, brings me to Kate. As far as I can tell Kate has formed a bond with Spencer. His removal could therefore cause some pychological trauma on Kate and break her heart (sorry sick bags are provided in the seat in front  )
Therefore from a harm minimisation principal, Alex needs to leave, so Spencer can stay
However I do not think this will happen due to the strong "Keep Alex" in campaign run by RI:SE

Well I am very surprised by this one. I'm gutted that I can't vote PJ out this week.
I can't say that either Alex or Spencer are particular favourites of mine but I must admit to warming more to Alex than to Spencer. I just don't think I would even notice if Spencer went so he's getting my vote this week.

Sorry those ladies of slightly
more mature years, I know it's not only teeny boppers who like Spencer!
I am just going to have to be on my own on this one I suppose. He does absolutely nothing for me at all, leaves me cold with a capital 'C'.
I certainly don't find Alex attractive, but I think he is infinitely more entertaining, and he will create situations which are entertaining.
Spencer, however, having perfected the 'appearing as if I don't give a ****' look, will no doubt continue it. I don't have anything against him, in fact I hardly notice him.
The official Channel 4 site put's him massively first in the popularity stakes, so I don't think you all need to worry too much. Ho-Hum

If Jonny had been evicted last week, we would have been spared this vote. As it was, the clique was strengthened.
If Alex is evicted, I might stop watching Big Brother or, at least, I won't watch it as much.
Keep the entertainment in and vote for Spencer to be evicted.
And there's no need for this site to start supporting Jade, if Spencer is evicted, just because Jade made the run-off poll. That wouldn't be fair. Have a new poll with the eight remaining housemates, including the new one.
Or have a new run-off between Jade and the next highest placed housemate in the original poll, Alex.
Oldgit
18-06-2002, 07:28 PM
There are two possibilities:
Alex goes, and I will be happy happy happy because as anyone who has read my other postings may have noticed, I cannot stand the man(?). Mrs Oldgit and I will be dancing with joy, because she cannot stand him either.
Spanky goes, and then it will be PJ, Jonny and Kate, the only four people in the house who don't continually bitch behind others backs. It just won't be worth watching.
I cannot understand some people's attitudes: last year Brian was the joker and he made people laugh, there was Paul and Helen's romance, and the house was a happy place. Alex has split the house in two, he never stops moaning, after last Saturday's task he took Adele, Jade and Sophie to the rich side and has been carrying on like he owns them: he is more sexist than PJ and Spencer put together and that is saying something.
He has brought about an atmosphere where the rich side are flaunting what they have against the poor side, something which only Lee did last week, and he got what he deserved as a result.
SPENCER MUST STAY

This is absolutely awful. I didn't think we'd have to make this decision till like the last night or whateva. Alex and Spencer are my 2 favourites and I'm kinda stuck. I have a feeling it's gonna be Alex that goes cuz a lotta girls think Spence is hot. I'm gonna vote for Spencer to go though cuz I don't like Kate and I want her to suffer. Plus, Alex in the long run will be much more entertaining.

I suspect the betting scam will ensure Spencer goes, because he is supposed to be popular.
With a C4 breakfast show (RI:SE) supporting Alex, does anyone spot the conflict of interest ?:mad:
I am voting to evict Alex, only to spare Kate the trauma of being separated from yet another mate, and doing a Sandy. Do we really want yet another substitute in the house ?
Hi split milk :cat: and welcome to the board.
Hope you enjoy posting here :spin2:
I've really warmed to Alex over the last few weeks after disliking him with a passion when the stupid 'wee-gate' thing was going on. I'll actually be really sad if he goes this Friday. I have however.always liked Spencer and I would still prefer him to stay. His laid back attitude and the way he responds to BB I think are excellent.
I'll be voting Alex but will be rather sorry about it.
I wish I could vote for PJ instead.

If Spencer is evicted, Kate will probably get together with PJ or make a move on Tim.
I can't see Kate with PJ, even she has better taste than that after she's seen his reactions to Jade recently.
Tim is a distinct possibilty though.

Caught between a rock and a hard place!
I had a dream last night that the nominations were Kate, Jonny, Alex and Spencer so 2 out of 4 isn't bad.:hugesmile:
But I wanted to vote PJ or Sophie out this week. Huh!
There is definitely something going on in the house that we are not seeing on TV. Adele in particular seems very astute as to managing to nominate at least one of the people each week for eviction.
On the plus side, the fact that the nominations are so unpredictable makes it a better show I think. One of the only boring thigs about last year is that you could pretty much predict who would go when and who would finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd. This year it's a lot more wide open!

I smell a Paul & Bubble re-run here. Everyone expects Alex to go because Spencer is more popular on the polls and with the bookies. However I think a shock is in store. Personally I hate them both for nominating my personal fav Alison so I could not care less which one goes. But from a tactical point of view I would rather see Alex go. Adele the creep relies too much on Alex/Jade for her plan and if one of her little gang goes then she will be more isolated and less likely to win. Just because she fits in with all the pc claptrap (female, black and gay) does not make her a deserving winner. I notice that gay/bisexual HM's have either come a close second or won BB outright in the past. By way of these statistics I would say the smart money is unfortunately on the manipulative schemer Adele to win BB3. It is what the show's producers want. Also she has not received a single nomination to date.

Maybe I missed something but what is entertaining about Alex? Since the 'weegate' saga he has not done much and his palliness with boring schemer Adele does him no favours at all. If he got friendly with Kate instead of terrorising her verbally maybe his popularity would soar.

What a shock! I couldn't stand Alex at first and steadily over the weeks and especially after his stint on the 'poor side' I began to warm towards him and actually felt quite sorry for him by the end of the week....he has some very nice qualities but is also very irritatingly prissy.
Spencer is definitely for me, more watchable because not only is he a bit of a hunk...but I love the way he treats Big Bro' as if they are on equal terms. He doesn't care what they say in the Diary Room...if he wants something he just waltzes in there and asks..often telling them to hurry up if they keep him waiting.... but it's done in good fun most of the time. When getting a strike how cool he was to ask.."Do I get a badge?" it was so typical of Spence's general laid back attitude to the whole scenario.
I am torn between these two and cannot chose between them although, I would like to see more of Spencer...so I will not be voting this week.
I have a very bad feeling that Spencer will go this week....but which ever one does get the boot..the show will definitely miss them alot.

I do not think it is on to want to see some one suffer. I think I started a thread about do we really have to be sadistic to watch BB.
So spilt_milk are you in favour of the bars ?
I think it will be Spencer walking, because RI:SE, also C4 supports Alex. Expect C4 editing to try and influence our voting. If this is the case then this would be a clear conflict of interest

I don't want Spencer to stay because I think he is good looking (he is good looking, but that is by-the-by) I think his attitude is great, and he's not intimidated by Big Brother. I especially love the way that, like Honey mentioned , he goes up and demands things in his jokey way - it makes me laugh a lot.
I'm very sad it's these two, as I have a horrible feeling Spencer may go (Please no, like i have said, there is not much in this years BB to watch for!).
It's going to be, like PJ said "A clash of the Titans" but I fail to see where Alex has been entertaining. He just annoys the hell out of me, all day.
Sticks, you have a point - he does feature quite heavily in the channel four round ups......I just hope that they don't bias them - I think Spencer's a nicer chappie.
Keep Spencer!!!!
If Spencer is evicted, Kate will probably get together with PJ or make a move on Tim.
I think everyone is far too harsh on Kate. She does have a genuine liking of Spencer, you only have to watch her to see that - i can't see that t's put on for the cameras at all.
And he definately likes her, he goes really shy around her when it's just them, and he's scared (bless!)

Well, I am 38, am holding no items of clothing in my hands, and I would like Spencer to stay in this week.
For the record, I do not fancy him, I am not a screaming teeny-bopper, I just really like the guy. His laid back attitude is re-freshing and I love the way he stands up to Big Brother.
I'll actually be sorry whichever of them goes this Friday and if I'm honest I'll prob not vote this week, however, if I HAD to chose I would vote Alex to go and Spencer to stay.

Looks like BB does not like Spencer's Attitude and rebelling against authority, so things will be engineered to make him look bad.
I smell the whiff of a conspiracy. Let's not forget the scam e-mail
BTW if we do not vote, we let THEM get away with it. For the first time in this campaign I have actively voted (Instead of accidentaly voting because I could not understand my digital interactive)
I have voted to evict Alex, so Kate is not pychologically harmed by loosing Spencer as well as Alison.
