Example - BB7 - Richard wasn't too popular at that time, then his letter revealed that his Mother had cancer and was having chemotherapy. This got him much more fans when it was obvious he was BB for his Mum.

I know it's a horrible thing but everyone has something bad happen to them or a member of their family, people get through it and to milk it for praise is just despicable.
