As Charlie has made abundantly clear to Rodrigo, he is not interested in a relationship with him beyond friendship. Rodrigo is struggling to acccept that, hence his volatility.

Charlie will be a fantastic friend to Rodrigo, but don't be holding your breath waiting for anything more than that.
