......of this series, someone was asked who they thought would go and why. They said "I think science will go because I think this country has had enough of rudeboys and wannabe gangsters".

Well, apparently not. The thing is, no matter how hard I try, I cannot understand his appeal. Are we really taken in by all the attitude? Are we impressed with all his macho posturing, his constant desire to prove his manliness, and his reluctance to be portrayed in any position other than one of dominance? He is obviously quite inadequate, as he proved when refusing to dress up for tasks. He is unwilling to listen or compromise. He doesn't add anything at all apart from resistance. He has a whole potatoe field on his shoulder. I mean, are we really a society that approves of people like him? What makes it worse is that he was up against someone who for the most part has been entertaining and a real true British character. A cheeky cockney chappy being beaten by a jumped up arrogant rapping gangsta wannabe?

Time to leave the country, methinks.

It may be something to do with being his own man, and unlike everyone else in the house not requiring sycophantic hangers on and co-conspirators.

I agree he is immature and in your face, but he is no bully and has shown moments of real kindness and compassion.

Agreed ROB.Science is one of the few peopel in the house who isn't a follower and isn't easily influenced by others. He is himself and no-one or nothing will deter him from that.

I agree that at times you have to compromise for thing sthough, and Science hasn't done that, resulting in the failure of tasks etc.He should have played his part to be fair.

Bit of an over-reaction really.

The thing with Science is many people just look at the bad things with him, with his arguing and the way he talks. He has more to him than that, he is funny, intelligent and is willing to learn, he also shows his caring side when people have been down he has always been there to console them.

He does not wish to dress up as a woman, so what! I would not do it either, he was not happy doing it and good on him for sticking by his principles. He is no yes man and will not be taken in by any of these games that people play, he is a true individual who takes a back seat and he does listen to people and perhaps if you listened to him more then you would see that.

You seem annoyed that what I am guessing is your fav Maxwell has gone against him and are looking at putting blame onto people and posting the negative aspects to Science but fail to mention some of the bad behaviour by Maxwell. People voted the way they wanted and obviously wanted Maxwell out so move on and it seem's to me your the one with the chip on your shoulder in reagard to Science still being there.

OK,but Maxwell was also rude, dirty, arrogant and full of himself. It got boring.Science dropped the gangsta act a long time ago.
He beat Max against the odds because he also showed a vunerable, caring and quite likeable side.
Yeah, science's refusal to dress up,was against the spirit of the show. But he must have known that refusing to goon around was possibly going to lose him support.I like the guys determination, even if he is sometimes a bit loud about it.

The reasons I like Science are that he is completely honest, he refuses to be swayed by people's opinions of him, good or bad, and he says what he thinks, whether good or bad. Also, he has shown moments of genuine compassion or kindness. Maxwell, on the other hand was rude, lewd, cocky, arrogant, aggressive, full of himself, had no manners, and liked to belittle people. From day one, I have found Science more entertaining than Maxwell. I don't believe he is a 'rudeboy' or a wannabe gangster. No doubt, Science is hot headed, and he doesn't like to be wrong. However, he is one of the most genuine people in the house, which counts for a lot as far as I'm concerned.

If theres anyone in the house who deserves to win its Science, i wanted him out last week simply because he was up against Maxwell and nothing else, like everyone says hes not someone who bitches behind everyones back if he has a problem with someone he sorts it out face to face, you can even see how annoyed he looks when he sees team Makosi constantly bitching, i thought it was brilliant when he was telling other housemates what they REALLY think of each other and because they knew he was telling the truth they did'nt like it.

I agree with the first bit you said Stoney Science hasnt really got a gangster type act if you listen to what he says it is very relligious and extermly smart because when i first saw him i thought he was going to be like a gangster and if he was he would of been my worst but he started to grow on me and now he is one of my favourites.

Yeah they didn't like the fact that he was telling the truth about what they all thought of each other - yet they all think it's perfectly okay for them all to sit around bitching about everybody. Science should tell Kemal, Derek and Orlaith what Makosi has been saying about them - although even if he did, no doubt Makosi would wriggle her way out of it - probably she would turn the waterworks on and make everybody feel sorry for her and turn against Science, so I guess it's a good thing that he hasn't said anything about her feelings towards the others.

I hated Science at the start and thought he talked rubbish all the time but over the last week i have seen another side to him. I like science at the moment as he doesnt belong to any group and is happy being a loner most of the time. I also like the way he has started exposing Makosi and her pack for what they have said and done. Science seems a hard person for them to now beat and it seems they have now started on derek. Science isnt as bad as i first thought at the moment he is ok.
