For some strange reason, when I clicked to open my iTunes today it said 'iTunes needs to open a library to continue' etc.. and it has never said that before - so i clicked create and made a totally randon one called iTunes1.. and now my iTunes is totally empty. Help, please?

Have you still got all the music files stored on your computer or has it wiped all of them also?

Ah gutted >.<

I've had this, I just close it and open it again and it starts again... I now know not to click create!

No idea what to do :\

Some of them are of CD's and Limewire torrents so they wouldn't be on my computer. I had 860 albums. I'm so gutted.

If everything is on an Ipod then you can save them.

It should still save the torrents etc somewhere.

Click on the music folder in the start menu and go ino the itunes folder. Have they all been wiped from there?

You got it now, lol. Glad you got it back. It happened to me once, was rather annoying. Such a relief to get it all back though.

There should be a file in the iTunes Program Files folder called iTunesLibrary.something lol, that should be your music collection.
