Why are people hating on Sophie drunk when Kate was exactly the same?

I'm wondering this.
I just think its because viewers and FMs are getting too mature now. People are slating Sophioe for falling down, drinking alot and laughing hysterically.

But Kate Lawler in BB3 was doing the exact same thing but she was loved, everyone found her drunk hilarious. One of the moments that won it for her was when she fell over while putting her trousers on.

This means that if Kate was in this series she wouldnt be liked, and if Sophie was in BB3 she would be loved.

I see no difference in when they are both drunk.
So why did Kate get away with it?

The same?!? not even close, Sophie was merely tipsy, Kate was out of her ****ing mind every night. All of the BB3 housemates were actually.

The reason Sophie gets hate for it is because she is the token 'lads mag air head' and Kate was just a regular girl, not stunning, not stupid just average. More people could relate to her and a lot of people sympathised with her due to her spending so much time on the poor side.

The girl has a drinking problem, imo. I'm not saying she's an alcoholic, but it's not normal to scrape spilled alcohol from worktops back into a glass and drink it, nor is it normal or ok to beg other HMs for their leftovers! :shrug:

She REALLY needs to look at the footage of heself when she leaves the house....and lay off the drink for good. :nono:

I think it was the same, I bet if Kate was on BB10 everyone would be calling her drunkness a "fake" as well.

Its harsh that just because Sophie is one of those "typical" girls on the mags, that we should judge her on other things differently than others.

I saw the alcohol BB provided them with, there wasn't even close to enough there when divided to get her that drunk, not to mention the fact that she seemed to recover miraculously fast when the argument arose. She was just playing up as many young girls do when they've had a bit to drink.

These days people can't accept a girl to do that sort of stuff, it's not how a stereotypical girl should be...back then no one gave a sh*t but now people feel they are someone and therefore, look down on people like Sophie, who is purely down to earth and really just wants to have fun.

being serious theres been abouut at least 5 times i cant remember throughout the series when she has been really drunk and how long hae they been in there for 10 weeks? are you kidding most people her age are like that about 3 times a week!

Kate Lawlor was the heroine of BB3. Lets face it Jade was despised until about a week before she was evicted. The way Jade behaved compared to the way kate behaved was a sharp contrast, and it showed Kate in a great light. The men on BB3 were rubbish and I certainly didn't want the whinney Alex to win!

Kate had a great fun personality, she was not legless all the time because she spent the longest time in the 'poor' side of the house. People remember her that way because of the 'best bits'! Her and Johnnie playing 'stupid hide and sek' was funny TV and np alcohol was involved.

I think people complain about sophie drinking because she is a girl who does or says very little unless she has a drink, and then she is a loud annoying drunk! Its like she has no personality without alcohol.
