Can anyone else guess why?

Lisa says she would prefer to read hers herself, charlie is very very against this idea, he got very worked up at the slight suggestion...no no no i want mine read out, its different when people read it to you.

This is something I am really not looking forward to. With luck it won't be shown in the highlights.

Dont think they have them yet.

But charlie is already panicking incase they all decide to read their own to themselves, instead of aloud

Yea this bit about BB is most boring ever, and we will have to sit and watch charlie cry as hes having hes letter read out about hes mum still being in a coma and that hes family are all proud of him.

he's read stuff out before and he was really, really bad at it. maybe he's got a problem with reading??

Oh please! This is Charlie's way of getting maximum attention. I feel sorry for his family.

Though I have to ask. Is it really true about his mum, or is it something he has made up, or added to?

Genuine question! I have only heard this on this site but never anywhere else.

I still can't quite believe that someone with a mother in a coma would appear on Big Brother. It does not make any sense. Especially if he loves her as much as he says he does. It seems to me that he does not love her as much as he loves himself. Sorry for being so cynical! I do not trust the guy!

Lisa has the right idea! Keep your own story to yourself.

If he can't bare to read his own letter, how can he listen to it. The logic of this escapes me!

It was after listening to Charlie talk all ******ing day that out her into one. It's probably on doctor's advice that Charlie has been put into the BB house to get the poor woman a chance of survival.

What ******ing heartless attention seeking celebrity wanabee leaves their mother seriously ill (whatever it is) and p****s off into the BB house for months? That Charlie is an arsehole using his mother for sympathy. What does he take the public for? Idiots?

what a horrible, immature thing to say. you might hate the guy, but to say he's the cause of her coma etc it pathetic

Maybe he can't read joined up writing?

Akerbie

Hopefully the letter he gets will be very positive and will not encourage him to cry, although Charlie can cry on cue, albeit no tears.

Whe he was called to the Diary Room about him his arguement with Rodrigo in the bedroom after waking him up, he was all laughing and giggling, and mucking about putting on some clothing, badly. Then all of a sudden when he's in the Diary Room confronted by BB, he turns on the waterworks. "It's not my fault!" It never is,.. is it Charlie?

his mum had a brain aneurysm about 2 years ago that left her in a coma. she's not in hospital now, she's been cared for at home. you can't really expect him to sit and hold her hand for 2 years and do nothing with his life. they don't know if she will ever wake up fully.

i think you guys are too harsh on Charlie. everyone copes with things in different ways, people can stay in comas for years and years, their offspring can't be expected to be at their side 24/7. imagine what it must be like seeing your mum like that. instead of being so cynical all the time, maybe it'd be better to think how strong he must be to carry on with his life? i know everyone's gonna disagree with me, but seriously, so many people on here love to hate and to assume the worst.

and how do you know he doesn't have difficulties reading? if he does, which wouldn't surprise me, then he's gonna make up an excuse of why he wants it read to him.

He told isaac the first night he entered the house..he thought isaac would be nominating and did'nt want to take a chance so felt he had to tell him the first night he entered the house......he uses it to gain sympathy.

i very much doubt he's using it for sympathy.

why wouldn't he talk about his mum, or the rest of his family for that matter. the rest of the hm do it. it would be weird for him not to talk about his mother when she's in that condition. she's obviously on his mind every day, doesn't mean he shouldn't be in the house and holding her hand

It's alright to talk about it, but to keep bringing it up, you just know he's asking for the sympathy vote.

Very glad Big Brother hasn't shown any of this on the HL.

maybe he keeps bringing it up coz it's constanly on his mind or at the back of it? if he didn't say anything you guys'd be all 'he never says anything about his mum, what an unfeeling bast@rd'. he can't win either way.

Because he wouldn't pass the necessary written tests to become an employee of the Department for Work and Pensions... for a start.

The most disgusting aspect of Charlie is the way he uses his comatose mother to gain the sympathy vote and, he hopes, thereby win BB10.

you don't know how often he's talking about it though coz you don't see it. he's spoken about it on LF maybe 3/4 times max since he's been in the house?? and that's been during conversations in the house. PLUS the sound has been dipped every time , so you don't know what he's saying. the rest of the hm talk about their families and friends outside the house

plus we only know his mum's in a coma coz the MEDIA have broken the story. if they hadn't printed any stories about it, we wouldn't know until he left the house
