Best post on the forum from How astute and CAN anyone answer it?

Simple Questions:
If Marcus KNEW that you get evicted if you go about being over-confident and boasting about how you were 100% confident of staying..

Why didn't he do just exactly that as a way to wind up the fans against him?

and/or

Why didn't he, at the very least, advise Freddy to STOP doing that and saying such things?

Do you want to try and answer that?

Wonder how many will know the answers:shrug:It made me think and I still haven't got the answer.

Its obvious!

Marcus wanted to stay. So he didnt bother telling Freddie to shutup, and kept silient (therefore not seeming overconfident which he knows the public dislike)

Did Marcus look upset when Freddie's name was called out? Marcus knows that 9 out of 10 times if you say you want to go, you will stay

So I guess it's Marcus that brought Freddie down and not Bea

I think you're clutching at straws if this is a reason to dislike Marcus.

I think the HL shows played a big part in why Freddie came across as being so cocky. If he said, "I'm staying" three times in one day, nobody would think anything of it. If he says "I'm staying" three times in a one hour HL show it makes him look like a giant arrogant prick.

Also, you're making Marcus responsible for Freddie's actions. He shouldn't have to tell Freddie not to say things like that; Freddie should know already. To be honest, Freddie was probably seeing himself thinking realistically instead of being arrogant.

Also, if Marcus did start getting cocky I know I would love it and continue to vote for him. In fact, I think a lot of Marcus fans would which is why he is the irrepressible dark horse!!!

LOL - I don't think your flimsy theory will cover up why Freddie went........and the part Bea played.

People on here are not fools and know exactly why Freddie went and how nasty Bea is.

Marcus said it may have been because freddie was being over confident..........

Bea said she knew Marcus would stay.....i guess that means she knew it because she had played Freddie and got him evicted.

Worst post on the board if you ask me. I have never heard such mindless crap. You are of course allowed an opinion but don't ridicle yourself with such bollocks.

Siavash to win.

The people in the BB house are participants in a game show.

Freddie and The Irrepressible Dark Horse are/were aquaintances.

As far as I know,Marcus is/was not Freddies script writer.

Freddie brought Freddie down. He didn't have to react the way he did to Bea.

That and the fact that Marcus has become more and more popular after Noirin left.

Marcus, Bea and Channel 4(for their part in making up rules) all played a part in halfwits eviction.

But Marcus is the one who is actually responsible for halfwits eviction..

1. For being negatvie and always talking about gameplay
2. For breaking rules and getting halfwit to go along
3. For not telling halfwit in the begining that Bea is vile, he knew about this in the begining..

Marcus is clever and thats why he is still in there..

I think he did try to warn Freddie about being over confident or at least try to when he asked Freddie to go back into the room. He knew Freddie had had a bad time standing up to Bea in the past and if she had a go at him he could become even more defensive and then more cocky (as he had been with Lisa).

Whilst he does try to give advice it isnt really his responsibility to keep anyone in even his friends. Watching Freddie in the pool over laughing about Bea going into jail and again when he rushed to lock her up I do feel the whole thing was effecting him too much and it was time he called it a day.

Pitty though that such a person as Bea got the better of someone who at the end of the day seemed like a genuinely caring bloke.

last week marcus had the second highest iq in the house, now he has the first.
he is not stupid, i think he wanted comfirmation that the public liked him, and now he thinks he is popular on the outside.
he cannot go back on his so called wish to leave, so he has to keep up the pretence.
