I think Charlie is a nice guy , but it's obvious he is trying way to hard. With so many housemates telling him he is going to win, I think he feels he has to - added to the fact that he would love to win. I think he is trying SO hard to come across as a playing camp puppy, that it's just coming across as forced and OTT. He's playful side can also turn into aggression very quickly, especially when Rodrigo is present.
In last night's show I think he came across as jealous of Rodrigo and Sophie's friendship. He used to be really close with Sophie when Kris was in the house, but she does seem close to Rodrigo now - especially since she moved into the bed beside him and away from Charlie (when she used to sleep in the same bed as Charlie and Kris.)
I don't think what Charlie is doing is a "game plan", because I'm so sure he is that aware that he is doing it. But I think the more he tries to win, the less chance he has of winning. I also think his fighting with Rodrigo is because since the new housemates have come in, they've said they think Rodrigo will win over Charlie.
