Is it time to forgive Lisa?? Don't throw things at me please!!! I think she's ok actually, She's had Bea licking her arse all week in obvious nominations-ducking-strategy but Lisa is not letting her draw her into her bitching-fests. Even when she went on and on and on to her about Freddie, Lisa surprisingly didn't say that much about Freddie. I particularly liked her having Siavashs back when Bea was going on about him not wanting to sleep next to her. I realise what went on in the first couple of weeks wasn't good but I reckon, as much as Freddie was entertaining as a viewer he could've been extremely irritating to live with. And I say lets give Lisa a second chance!!

Personally, for me, she is still on her first chance. She's an OK lady. Not my favourite, but OK.

she can afford to be nice now tho - since she's cruising into the final.

Just remember how mean she was before - and she's a lazy dole bludger!

I'd rather Lisa stayed in than Bea, Charlie OR Sophie tbh...

Fair enough but I don't think she did anything that bad actually, she didn't get on with Freddie but really if you were being fair you would have to say that Marcus bullied Sree more than Lisa bullied Freddie, the only difference was people didn't like Sree (including me by-the-way)

Lisa has worked hard in factory work all her life. Like many people, she is in the unfortunate position of having been made redundant recently. You can be sure that she will be looking to get back to work as soon as she gets out of the house. I don't buy all this negative stereotyping.

She has also been working in pet rescue work recently and I admire that.

I've never disliked her.

I always supported her through the Freddie barrage and to me she's never changed.

hehe - didn't realise she'd been layed off, I just assumed she'd been sat in her council house smoking herself to death for the last 20 years!

Just goes to show :spin:

The only thing that you forgive about Lisa is her low IQ, the rest, nothing much there.

She is older than the rest and hence should be more mature, but she ain't..

Still don't like her sorry Daff! She makes me want to slap the TV in an irrational way. Bea makes me want to slap myself tho.

I don't like her either. Aggressive and patronising. I don't think she is as bad as Bea though.

no

For a 40 year old woman she is a big disappointment. I think that by that age almost all women are married and have children. Having to look after others, live with another sex, put yourself last in many situations, sacrifice etc makes you into a fulsome person.

Lisa is a 40 year old teenager and it is not a good look

Since Bea has been in the house Ive felt less dislike towards Lisa.

However she was talking to David the other day about how much her friends will absolutely hate Freddie for the way he made a fool out of her & I thought, she must forget the way she treated Freddie when they were first in the house.

I'm a Freddie fan through & through but I'm not stupid enough to think that all that mmmmming & ahhing wouldn't get right on your nerves but when Lisa had that loser Kris & Karly in there she was well out of order in the way she bullied him, they all were. Even Sophie was getting involved in stirring people up against him.

Yes she has figured Bea out but she didnt half take her time. More power to her in the meantime regarding Bea but I can't forget what a nasty unpleasant vile bully she was.:cloud:

Bea is right out of her league though, get that horrible cow out.:mad::mad:

Hate to say, but you may have a point.

The thing with Lisa is that she is not a malicious person... she just has serious anger issues.

People have short memories so Lisa could be forgiven by finals night.

Personally I found her behaviour disgusting for 6 weeks though and while she isn't at the top of my 'wish they weren't here' list (Charlie and Bea have gone above her) she has done nothing to make me think she is ok.

Even if she was forgiven for her past bitchiness she has done nothing entertaining in her time there.

Yes, I agree. Perhaps I'm being petty but I cant get the picture of Lisa spewing her poison at Freddie during the first few weeks. Also, I think she's calmed down because she's had so many warnings that she darent speak in her usual nasty way.
She's having to learn how to talk all over again - thats why she she is finding it difficult to say anything! :eureka:

I like Lisa. Most of the reasons people give for disliking her are fairly ignorant and prejudiced. I think she has a kind heart, and she is not stupid at all.

I've definitely warmed to Lisa. TBH, this first six weeks business is a bit over my head. I don't have any big impressions of her being a witch over and above any of the others, but I must qualify that by saying that it did take a couple of weeks for me to get really hooked and so I could have missed stuff.

I reckon that if I was in that house (or any house) with Sree or Freddie as he was at the start, I might kill one of them.

But as the series went on I could see that Freddie had adopted a persona to cover up his self doubt. The big problem was that he tried to become some Kerouac-beatnik type, parroting bi-sexual free love ar$e and hippie crap that has little relevance to life today.

The others seemed to have an almost chemical reaction to him which shifted around the time of the hairdo, when the real Freddie started to come out. And it seemed he only really came out the other side on the day he left the house. The guy speaking to Davina seemed charming, self assured, open to criticism of himself....and (I hate using this word now), positive.
