That sophie & siavash have not been punished.
I dont care about the fact they are saying its punishment enough because they have inadvertently nommed two people.
Thats just a kop out, the fact is sophie escaped punishment last week and has once again not personally been punished, and siavash after saying he wouldnt refuse again as it would put house at risk obviously doesnt give a s**t and has got away scot free.
I fail to see how this is a punishment directly affecting them both :conf:
When it happened previously they put the whole house up for nom including those who broke rules and also the house truend against the rule breakers.
So how is this any different??? Is it because of who the two were??
Vicky.

As unpopular as this opinion may be, I think the correct way BB could of gone about this was to make this weeks eviction Sophie V Siavash.

I almost admire Siavash for being so stubbornly annoying.

If they wanted to they could have said if you refuse to nominate you will be evicted from the house.
Then watch the time it takes both of them to think of names

I think they should have put both up with Marcus, David and Bea. That would have been fairer imo.

I dont like either of them too much to be honest. Only two I like in there now are Rodrigo and Marcus.
Sophie would probably beat Siavash anyway, hes been very very boring recently.

Plus, sophie and siavash are actually even with some bookies in the win market...others she is only slightly behind...but nevermind, continue making assumptions

Nope don't assume anything. I have a good memory from previous threads and discussions about Siavash.............Of course people do change their minds........So lets put it down to that.......

100% totally and hugely agree with your sentiments and the real shame in this happens when the fans get caught up in the excitement of evicting this hated HM or that hated HM and fail to see they just got scammed,
BB is violating YOUR programme,
The fans lose,
It is ruining the very things that got us watching,
It makes a mockery of it all,
What is the point then?
This happening SEVERAL times already and at this point whoever stays, whoever leaves, whoever wins becomes mostly meaningless.
Why are people voting then?
Why should you tune in with excitement to see who will get nominated?
Why should you spend money voting when, ultimately, its just a scripted and manipulated 'drama' with arbitrary rules and them 'carrying' who they want anyways?
Siavash and Sophie are going to the Final no matter how much you pay them?
Marcus is staying whether you like it or not no matter what you vote or cheer for?
Doesn't this infuriate people?
If not doesn't it at least make you wonder why you support this with your vote money?

I want marcus to survive as he is the best in there by a mile.
They should have given sophie and siavash 20 seconds to nom two people or leave the house, do you think their stand would have persisted???

Obviously the Producers want to protect dim Sophie together with Siavash. They clearly didn't want to punish either of them. They can change the rules from week to week to suit their favourites:yuk:

That's true. She sort of gave him a purpose for being there.....Mmmmm sort of..... I have always disliked him for being himself.....Fancy dress gimmick man who spreads imagined untruths and was the root of major conflicts be it deliberate or accidental....

They should have simply let them out of the diary room left them for 30 minutes then pulled the two of them back in asked them to nominate again and then shown them where the door to the exit is, if they refused.
Its not the first time either of them has broken rules concerning nominations. As nominating other housemates is part of the game, they dont want to play the game so they dont deserve to stay in the show. Simples.

Yep.. there shouldn't even have been any question about this especially not twice or three times later and it should have been that simple:
If you do not want to co-operate with the basic premise and rules then you may now leave through the door to the right. Good-bye.
It might be just as well this is the last season because after this one there is a poor precedent set and rules don't mean much of anything.
Vicky.
18-08-2009, 03:18 AM
They should have given siavash the option to nominate or be chucked out in the first place, then none of this nomination rebellion would have happened. if they had been strict to start with, people would obey the rules...instead, he chose not to nominate, and the whole house was put up, which was what he wanted, and he even admitted this...since then the nomination 'punishments' have just got more and more ridiculous. It is their own fault, and they have killed off a major part of the show, by being soft with them.
