OK, hes not pretty to look at and is a bit thick.

But what BB crimes has he committed? He seems genuine, he made friends with Lisa despite knowing she was unpopular on the outside. He does not uber bitch and has some funny lines.

Is his only crime being Lisa's puppet? Have I missed something about him?

I like David so I can't help you there... he seems genuine to me too. Maybe it's just that he's not liked by fans as much as the others ..

I like him too. He seems to be genuinely kind. And I thought it was terrible of Bea to tell him she would not nominate him, and then she went ahead and did it. He seems so harmless. :flower:

I think he has two thing going against him:

1. He is Lisa's minion.

2. He makes excuses for Bea and seems to be the only one who can't see her faults. I mean... in the diary room he said he felt that Bea was starting to come out of her shell! OMG... if her behavior has been while she was in her shell, the housemates had better be careful. She might just kill them all in their sleep now that she is out of her shell!

I think if David was away from those two, he would show his sweet side more.

Although I like David - I am disappointed by his apparent 'liking' of Bea!

He appears to pander to her a lot - which is exactly why she is the spolit b***h she is today - too many people have pandered to her!

I don't mind David. If he wasn't with Lisa all the time he could be more entertaining, but he's quite funny when he wants to be.

A lot of people dont like things that dont fit directly into a box. And David doesnt. He may not be the brightest but he is genuine. Just look how Freddie was treated cos he didnt fit into the standard box, and david is the antithesis of Freddie, poor working class and northern.

Whether you like it or not this BB has been about teams and David has aligned himself with the most disliked group of people.

Apart from that I think it is very hard to 'like' housemates that havn't been in from the start. I don't think he is nasty but he has definitely made his bed and must now sleep in it.
