A friend she hasn't seen in 6 months

Is the only person she could get to go on BB as a friend/family member? Each time she has been represented on BBLB, it has been by Tea. The video message - Tea. Are the rest of her family/friends just really camera shy?

Honestly it may very well just come down to entirely practical purposes and willingness.
Most people would be very uncomfortable representing anyone and most people are very uncomfortable doing any sort of public speaking and most people are even more frightened of it being televised.
and,
Really they have to find someone who is in London, available during those hours, can make it there.

Add to that - BB seems to be making a sort of 'running stories' featuring one friend of the HM.
Ravi for example.
Marcus has that one girl etc.

But I don't think that it has anything to do with her attention seeking behaviours....

I suspect her family are quietly middle-class ...

Yeah, there would be huge fallout because people spent money voting for her when she was up for eviction. It would be fraud if she was a plant. Besides, I think if there was a plant, BB would share it with us. Knowing someone in there is a plant would make watching them more entertaining.
