View Full Version : Marcus Whos fed up of the dark horse and legendary status bestowed upon Marcus?

I want to gauge the forum members opinion on the number of posts going by dark horse - legend. Truthfully its all a facade that hides the many obnoxious traits of Marcus.
Lets have a recap to remind fans who suddenly support him and forgot all that has taken place before..
1. Spent most of his time behaving like a love sick puppy to Noirin.. saying things like can i kiss you? Can i hug you?
2. Spent his time picking on Sree, cause he could, saying you lose the task for us. And hes been doing the same, breaking rules, getting people up for nomination.
3. Spent more time scheming than any other hm, telling Lisa and her gang play games, and now hes suddenly closer to her.
4. Talk about people behind their back constantly and be nice to them examples, David, Bea
5. Nasty to Tom and Hira, and told others to do the same, remember he and noirin discussing, and he was saying lets kiss in front of him.
6. The fact that he boasts about things, oh i went through 100 people ok right, and i have killer karate move. What a child, thats not going to impress anyone. if he was so good, what the ******* is he doing in big brother, go to the olympics or something!
7. He's w****** on TV. A 35 year old man w****** on tv. That itself proves he who thinks of himself as a hero is the biggest loser in town.
8. Remember when he was sulking after Noirin got together with Siavash, and he was acting like a small child and than Isaac came in and he was over the moon.
There are many more...
Marcus has been by far the best thing about this year's Big Brother, for me. And I love the way that fans of Marcus on this forum don't take things too seriously.

I think Marcus HAS been pretty legendary to be fair.
An example: When has another HM EVER told BB that they are talking total bollocks and totally OWNED BB like Marcus did when they called him into the diary room to give him a telling off for his 'aggressive and potentially racist' attitude towards Sree?
For that alone (and there are lots more things I could mention) Marcus is a BB legend.

Marcus = total one-off
Freddie = total one-off
Bea = total one-off
In this case, BB legends without a doubt and 'stars' of BB10.
Also like Siavash, but don't think he makes the 'legend' bracket...

Yesterday early in the morning when he was brushing his teeth in the bathroom, he heard a cameraman coughing in the camera run and Marcus said '' Not *******ing you again, why dont you ******* off and take some tixylix'' :laugh2:

as i said on another post, the viewers like the person who they feel they know best... do we really know anyone else as fully as we know marcus... i dont! the rest show only what they want to show, marcus is laid bare - warts and all:thumbs2:

Legend is a well overused term.
Marcus is the best thing in BB10. He is not a legend though, he just does not deliver enough. The only legend in BB10 is Bea. Love her or hate her (most likley) she has delivered constantly.
Marcus has had long periods of doing nothing and no true BB legend is never the slave of another like he was to Norin.
The Dark Horse isone of the greats but will never be a ture legend.

Marcus is a legend of Big Brother, not much of an achievement, but he is.
He's one of the boldest characters the show has ever seen.
If he wins Big Brother, it will be the best thing for the show and it would be a fantastic ending to the series.
I'm sick of seeing these younger people win it who are either good looking or apparently "funny". It would be one hell of a moment if Marcus named was last called out by Davina.

Marcus is my joint favourite alongside Bea but I do agree that people are going over the top about it. He's by far one of the best BB10 HM's but everyone this series pales in comparision to earlier BB's.

there has always been a very 'vocal' anti marcus movement since day one. There are a lot of folk who really dislike the man. Howevere the proof is in the pudding as they say. Marcus is still there. He beat freddie which, inspite of what others might say, was a remarkable feat especially when we take into account all the marcus haters out there.
the 'noise' we are getting re marcus haters is made by the kind of immature 'beings' who loved kris and his 'cool' hair etc.

Very true. I was saying following the eviction on Friday that if Marcus goes on to win this it would be a triumph. It would be an epic moment for the show.

IMHO... Marcus is certainly not a Legend, i think he's a******* in my opinion, i cant stand him, not liked him since day 1.

I must admit I liked Marcus for a while,but all this guff being bestowed on him is rubbish,he is a housemate,nothing more nothing less,I didn't like the tone some of his fans had so my support is now for Rodrigo(far braver than MARCUS)and don't mind Siavash so much either

I always like your comments kazane, completely agree..
I gotta admit, I'll be pretty annoyed if Marcus wins, yes he's had his moments but on the whole I don't find him endearing in the slightest. There's housemates who would deserve to win a lot more than him
no one past or present deserves the 100k more than marcus...and he's real close to it now...

He is no way a 'legend'. The only true legend of BB10 is Freddie.
Marcus has on many occassions shown himself to be a creepy, pervy, aggressive, backstabbing, and bitchy little man.
But if his fans wanna carry on with this 'legend' business then it doesnt bother me, I just disagree with it and leave them to it

I 100% agree with you! He is such a dusgusting man and there is not one good thing about him, but still the majority of TiBB support him!?!?! Halfiwt was another wierdo who everyone on TiBB loved, now hes gone they love Marcus and when Marcus goes they will alll love Siavash (I guarantee you) SOPHIE TO WIN!
