Marcus has changed what he does since Freddie was voted out.

If the housemates thought that Freddie was favourite Marcus now thinks that he has a better chance because he beat Freddie.

He is no longer hanging around the garden and this week has been in bed when the last housemate went to bed.

Just because some peoples gameplans aren't clear to the public doesn't mean they don't have one. Just remember this is a GAME. have you ever heard of anyone playing to lose?

errr...yes of course he has a game plan. Only a very very stupid person would not have a GAME PLAN on a GAME SHOW with 100k at stake.

Thing is though most of the other housemates are of a very low intelligence and their 'game plans' are so feckn inept and lacking in sophistication they largely amount to no more than being 'nice' to people and etc.

Marcus is the most intelligent person in there and he plays a more sophistacted and long end game. He has playing everyone in that house like a fiddle and has done for a v long time.

He beat Freddie...nough said.

Marcus is the most intelligent person in there and has created one of the most memorable and entertaining TV personas in years.

Marcus definitely has a gameplan, there's no doubt about it.
He's more intelligent and perceptive than anyone else in the house and he knows it and uses it to play them.
I say well done to him, after all the person with the best gameplan ultimately wins the gameshow?!

Someone having a gameplan on a game show like BB... whatever next... I am so shocked really... I mean how long has BB been going? They all go in there not knowing what its about or how their behaviour effects their surroundings or how people get voted out!!! All the original housemates have lasted for whatever reason, whether its not being nominated from being nice or just not been hated enough to be voted out by the public, good on them all, they are all playing a game of one kind or another its BB

Marcus is my 2nd fave, but I do slightly think he has contrived it so that he definitely is different from the rest, and not be boring, and hopefully that will stand out.

If it is a gameplan, then it's a good one. But is it good enough? Well he's winning the folk over. Look at 6 weeks ago!

they all have gameplans. Charlie acts dumber than he really is. Lisa has masterfully adapted to the big brother house and avoided every eviction. Rodrigo acting naive and thinking he was going to meet the queen for real(before setup), yeah right, also he always takes the moral highground not breaking the rules and all that. Siavash emancipates himself by not nominating and making sure he's cool with everyone. Sophie seems to act more and more child like. Marcus does do the whole I wanna go home but I don't think he really cares what people think judgin by some of the things he's said. Davids...i don't have a clue, he's just a big dumb boy.

Depends in what context you mean by 'gameplan'.

I guess it generally means being two faced and untrustworthy. In this case Marcus dos not appear to have a gameplan. I can' think of a reasonable argument to say that he is anything but straight with people.

As far as having thought out a way to behave in order to win the show, the true meaning of gameplan then of course he has. Even 'just being myself', which everyone admits to, and even uses as an excuse for the way they behave is the biggest gameplan in the book.

They all have a gameplan, its the type of gameplan that is the problem. Marcus has the typical 'be myself' gameplan. On the other hand CHarlie has a 'pretend to be a fun guy' gameplan. Which one is the nice gameplan and which one is the nasty? Well thats what the public decide every week.

Marcus gameplan is to imitate Rex (who was imitating previous characters) and the advantage Marcus has is:
He is obsessed what people think about him and controlling how people look and think about him. His selfishness is actually an advantage in this case. So is his contempt for others and that he has most definitely been carefully studying the series and especially the relationship between audience and 'types of characters'.
Marcus is not actually that perceptive in his own right but you will notice (even with limited edited presentations) notice he definitely watches what everyone else is thinking, saying, predicting, opining and how they are responding.
He copies that.

Here is the saddest thing though - there are enough 'plebs' who really are 'sheep' and are easily manipulated to fall for it.
not enough for a win,
but,
enough to carry him this far.

Yes he has a huge gameplan and unfortunately it seems to be working.
