Not since what her face from BB5, you know the girl who hit Victor, has BB (put it mildly) had a spastic housemate. There are stupid people like Sophie and Charlie and then there is David who is a cut above.

It the way he talks, his pronouciation and verbal tones. David just sounds retarded, does anyone else notice this?

I don't think David is mentally disabled in any way, I think he is a bit simple, not too educated, but he seems to have his wits about him!

I used to work with "differently-abled" people and they often are very naive about other people and motivations, etc. I don't see that in David. He seems very aware of most things, just doesn't have the greatest language skills, is a bit loud, etc.

He is simple and straightforward like Forrest Gump, but I'm not sure I'd have even said that Forrest was disabled!

I hate your choice of word, btw, "retarded" isn't very kindly.
