I remember around 96 when Clinton was president... I'm Brazilian and I thought America was the greatest country in the world... now not so much... I dream of moving to the UK. I dont think we will see improvements under Obama either. I've come to notice arrogance in America I had never noticed before.... especially when you travel internationally in American tourists who dont respect others cultures. I also hate the obsession with consumerism and the style of life we have here.

There are a lot more opportunities in the U.S. from what i hear.

I love the UK (i'm from Wales) but it's not a good place to be as far as opportunities go and it's only getting worse.

I'm actually planning on going abroad but probably more in the Asian direction.

I live in Edinburgh and most of the year we get loadsa tourists but I must admit the worst are the Americans,im not stereotyping hear im just goin with experience when out and about,only 1s ive eva had any kinda bother with are brash Americans who are ignorant and abnoxious,have no manners and think they are above every1 else.
Never had any problems with any other nationality but had quiet a few with Americans.

I'm an American, too. I didn't realize there was so much hatred of us here. I'm a liberal democrat anti-Bush girl. I spent a month and a half in China and loved it. I'm not very patriotic because I think a lot of countries are just as great or more so than we are. I like to think globally. The whole arrogant american thing gets on my nerves, too. People are people are people in my eyes, British, American, Canadian, Ethiopian, whatever. We all have our jerks, unfortunately.

Usa put Sadam in place in the 70's and turned his back (oil) on America after they threaten to replace him if he didn't do what they say.
