It certainly wasn't very 'lady-like'! She sounded as if she hadn't eaten in about a month! She is a strange girl!

Table manners are severely lacking in that house. Most of them grasp their fork like a toddler and shovel the food into their mouth. Then once it's in there they chew with their mouth open and talk with food in their mouths. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a puritan where table manners are concerned, but for the sake of my gag reflex, I wish they'd show a little decorum.

I HATE bad table manners ,and if children have been raised to eat nicely it stays with them all their lives ,no need to eat like cement mixers

:flower:I am soooo glad to see someone else being affected by the poor dining etiquette of the HMs. I'm not a puritan where table manners are concerned either, but I feel there is no excuse for their poor table manners...the way their cutlery is held and used, the chewing with their mouths open and talking with food in their mouths (my hubby always gags at that one). :yuk::yuk:

It is the noise that I can't stand - I don't mind people eating with their hands etc but needed to mute the tv tonight when Sophie was eating.
