What makes a worthy winner of Big brother?

I'd say its based on entertainment and being yourself, also willing to stand your ground in an arguement without going overboard and being a bully.

I'd say it should be Marcus....

It was funny earlier I was reading posts criticising Marcus. One was from a Siavash fan who said Marcus had no respect for women which amused me because its not like Marcus dumped his girlfriend infront of 2 million people

Also a sophie fan who thought they way he acted made him a bad role model also saying he had no respect for his mum. It's not like he gets out of her face drunk and rolls around the floor scoffing sausages.... her mother must be proud :whistle:

i'd say someone you feel you know, good/bad/ or ugly... a saint/monk or a martyr shouldnt win i.e Rachel from BB9.... someone whose shown themsleves in every light should win....whose that been this year??? MARCUS!

It’s hard to actually say what makes someone a worthy winner. Obviously the answer will depend on the person asked. For me, it’s someone who has provided entertainment throughout the show, stood their ground in arguments and was up for a laugh. But on the other hand, a major game player is worthy if their game plan actually fooled the housemates and a majority of the voting public; Big Brother is after all a game show.

The main characteristics of MOST previous winners seem to be: up for a laugh, genuine, had their fair share of air time/storylines and have stood their ground in arguments. Obviously other factors such as public sympathy (Nadia, Pete) have helped, as well as being nice and avoiding conflict (Cameron, Rachel).

Based on all of this, who do I think deserves to win this year? Probably Marcus. But that doesn't necessarily mean I have to like him.

Hwever what should make a BB winner seems to be the opposite of what actually does make a BB winner.

Entertainment, real/themselves, someone whom has made us the Tv veiwer sit and watch the show, some one we talk about and has given good value to the show and to us!

Thats what should be the ideal BB winner.

However this is the realitys of what a BB winner is:

Nice, quiet, safe and good looking = dull thats a BB winner now!

Hmm. I would think someone who is honest, without being bolshy, unique from other HMs, kind (however much they show it) and someone who makes good telly. :)

I think everyone thinks differently about what makes a winner.

For me, someone laid back, funny and genuine but not afraid to stir things up, cause drama and explode every once in a while.

I think someone that is honest enough to have their own opinion whether it is liked or not. I believe Rodrigo, Marcus and Lisa are in this category I do however think Rodrigo has entertained me the most usually when he is arguing with the others. I would have them in the final three I would add in Charlie as he is so determined to win that he will do anything to maake Rodrigo look bad. Gauranteed arguments and laughter till the end. However going on past winners it will probably be Sophie, Charlie, Siavash and Rodrigo who are in the final.

I don't care who wins now that all the 'better' h/mates have been evicted early on again, it's very boring now and can't wait to see if it makes it onto the screens again next year!
With so few viewers now what difference does it make whoever wins?
