I dont think theres a bb contestant who's popularity has grown so much from such unpopularity than Marcus.
At the beginning, I really didn't like the guy but now he's become one of my faves.
I think these forums have played a major part in shaping opinions of housemates.

marcus has become the folk hero of the TiBB boards -- he has overtaken Siavash in popularity and is rapidly making his way to the top of the Big Brother house -- marcus to win BB10 :thumbs:

Straight up eviction votes do what they do: measure relative popularity between the eviction candidates.

Scoring 46.4% against Freddie actually demonstrates considerable popularity and supports the case that Marcus has gained popularity over the weeks; thus the statistic you raise points in precisely the opposite direction to that which you believe it does.

It follows from this that there is no grasping of straws involved.
