She IS the face and voice of BB and always will be.

Yes, some of her (scripted) jokes are unfunny and she can be a little cringey - but her heart is in it and she tells it like it is imo (despite what others have said). She come across warm and bubbly as a person and grilled Bea in quite a skillfull way tonight.

I just don't get the 'hate' from some FMs. Just don't get it (but do get the jealousy!!!)

Good on ya Davina!

:dance2:

Dont rise to the bait and if you dont agree with a post done reply I kick myself when I do, sometimes the forum is used as a way of letting of steam but at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their opinion

I thought Davina was poor tonight. Once again she asks people their opinion and 6 seconds later talks all over them and then changes the subject!

Then some idiot came up with the idea of putting Brian and Bea in a shed to fight with a cricket bat and a hammer!

Did anyone on the production team say - not a good idea?

It is getting worse every year!

I've watched BB since the first one and I think when davina goes, BB is no more. All you haters can go and watch Ant and Dec or BB USA

I too have watched BB since the beginning and think that Davina is so full of herself that anybody trying to advise her is pointless. She probably would not listen. After 10 years of doing this show she should be sh*t hot at questioning people when they come out of the house but it is as if she's never done it before!

She was easy on Noirin, quite good with Freddy and useless with Hira.
Tonight is was waffling with Bea. Stuggling to form sentences. Poor.

Each to their own I guess. I thought she grilled Bea well.

Well I suggest if you can watch the re-run of tonight's eviction, tomorrow. You will see what I mean. Have a Stop Watch by your side. 6seconds on average is what she gives someone who she asks a question, before talking all over them.

Watch it and you will see what I mean.

Do you never stop to think she has an earpiece with people telling her when to move on from each question to another as it is LIVE??

I realise she has someone telling her through her earpiece what is going on. But come on- a few seconds after a fan ( who has made the journey to the show and probably sat about for hours) to start speaking and then get cut off in mid sentence! How would you feel if it happened to you?
It is also frustrating for the viewer.

Watch the show next time with a different take on things, and you will see what I mean.

Remember, I like the show. (BB). I have been watching it since 2000. But these comments I am making now are based on what I see and get annoyed at.

I'll take your point on board, but any presenter will have an earpiece and have to follow a linear interview. Maybe more time for the interview would help?

George Lamb has got better as time goes by, but not a patch on Dermot.

He still looks at his notes too much. But he is good.

I don't have any issues with him as a presenter.

If the show is to go on to bigger and better things they really need fresh ideas and more rehearsals before going on air.

I doubt George Lamb even watches big brother, I get the impression he is embarrassed by it

No one else could take her place.

We as viewers have a history with her and we get her references to previous series of big brother.

I don't think time is the issue. I just think the production staff have everything organised with out takes and links etc. but Davina has not equipped herself with insightful questions.

She obviously knows what has gone on in the house but seems to lack a range of probing questions to ask those that are evicted.
Tonight the production team had plenty of takes on how Bea had behaved and Davina was struggling with any real quality questions.

Ulrika was trying to fill in and helped her out. The psychologist was good.

But Davina's sentences tailed off as if she forgot what she wanted to say...

I assume what she needs to do is more preparation.

Not that I liked Bea but I feel you are coming from a very biased place. Maybe there were questions that you wanted to ask but Davina only has a short space of time. Maybe you need to get on BBBM and show her how it's done !
