Marcus?

I have to admit since Freddie got evicted Marcus has become the housemate i would like to win.

However I do actually wonder if he will win? I look at the other housemates whom are likely to be in the final, I can't see the public voting for Marcus to win. The norm for a BB winner is quiet, nice, and unoffensive, Marcus doesn't fit into many of those categories.

I just feel that a bland dull housemate such as Rodrigo, Sophie and even Siavash could win instead!

Your post is a reasonable one. I think if one wants Marcus to win one has to simply accept the points you have made then just carry on and continue to campaign for Marcus over the coming two weeks.

Marcus was given very little hope of surviving last week's eviction against Freddie but somehow came through. Marcus would be a great winner and we have to keep trying to convince people of that fact. His popularity has grown slowly over the course of the show and quite quickly over the last two or three weeks so anything is possible.

I have massive doubts that he can win ,and hope he doesnt ,he really doesnt deserve to ,Rodrigo,Sophie,Siavash and Charlie all have a much bigger chance of winning

Charlie and chance of winning shouldn't be in the same sentence. Siavash will become part of the furniture soon hes blending in to the background to much. Rodrigo maybe Sophie maybe, Rodrigo probaly deserves it more than Sophie. As for Marcus not being worth the win your bias still astounds me i remember you saying your husband is a bookie? Go look at the odds you should understand them shows Marcus going from 50-1 to a slither off being joint favourite :thumbs:

Well sure everyones odds shorten as the race draws to a close... well apart from Rodrigo, Siavash and Charlie's :thumbs:

I'm not saying his odds coming down mean he is more likely to win. I'm saying because hes more likely to win his odds are shortening. There is a subtle difference in the two :wink:

But honestly don't worry about it I know your bias is one of the strongest on here and your input usually consists of no fact all fiction. If Marcus loses I think he would have been robbed. I would prefer David to win it than any of Sophie, Charlie or Siavash. Rodrigo has a temper but at leeast is entertaining.

Also to put a hole in yout logic your saying that if i was in the world 100m final against usian bolt and 8 of the fastest athletes in the world I'd not stand a chance but if the 8 'other' runners dropped out and it was me vs Mr bolt I'd have more of a chance :joker:

I am not really sure what the point of the discussion is here. Popularity in terms of the ability to collect votes to survive an eviction or win can only be judged in relative terms in relation to the remaining Housemates. To continue to deny that Marcus has "gained popularity" over the last few weeks is to deny the reality staring us all in the face, whatever one's preference.

This is not a question of who you might like. It is a question of making informed judgements based on the freely available evidence. To continue to deny that Marcus has gained popularity is to discredit oneself as a reliable poster.

Marcus has been steadily liked since week one..he has gained the support from all the evicted housemates fans..so therefopre he has risen in popularity as he has managed to retain all his fans whilst gaining all the rest..he will win, it's justy a matter of by how far...

So knocking Freddie out shows no sign of an increase in popularity? Freddie was hardly hated when he left he had just slipped abit. You seem to hate any housemate who is entertaining.

The only reason he is likely to win is because every Week he has been up and beaten off favoured competition. Also he is the only one with a personality who has brought things to the show which have amused people and gave the show a reason worth watching. FACT

I'm so glad another one of the 10 Marcus supporters made yet another thoughtful post about why Marcus should win.
This argument is as good (and same) as all the others. Basically:
Since Marcus is the best and most entertaining HM by such a great margin then I suggest he deserves to win. He deserves it because he does. He is, after all, the best HM by far.

I sure hope there will be 6 of these a day for the next week (as usual) so we can all ask ourselves:
Does the greatest HM deserve to win?

My point is your saying that everyone has the same chance of winning YOU ARE WRONG. Its not an opinion its FACT!

I used the 100m finals to illistrate that just because its down to two people does not mean they have the same chance of winning. I was essentially using SPEED TO REPRESENT POPULARITY. I used usain bolt to represent the FASTEST/MOST POPULAR and how just because hes racing against 8 other people is not comparable to his chances of winning

Also like the way you are hedging your bets now...

Rodrigo, Siavash, Sophie or Charlie to win :laugh3:

basically you hate Marcus, Lisa and David who all should come before Charlie, Sophie and Siavash
