Makosi's Mother?

Not sure if this is utter rubbish or not but just read that Makosi is doing the show to rasie some money for her mothers operation? Anyone know if its true or not...?

"Aparantly" her sister said that her mum was ill before the show and the reason makosi went into it was for money for a life saving op. Similar to Craig winning big brother 1 only he didnt publicise it until the end. Does lying run in the family or is this one true? Whats everyones take on it?

Hhm I heard this as well.. Apparently her mother has a tumour behind her eye and could die from it.
Not sure if its true or not...

It might explain why she was sad not seeing her sister in that video clip if her sister had travelled back to see her mum or something. I dont know what to think once again. For me if these stories are fake the public will go mad so that makes me think that there may be a bit of truth to it.

I saw it in the Sun a few days ago. Then again, I bought Heat yesterday and there's an interview with Moloko's mum and dad.. her mum or dad say nothing about the illness.

Hhm, this is a tough one. I truely believe that there is something wrong with Moloko's mum.. It's a sensitive subject so she wont speak of it.

Maybe? I dont know. I dont think the family would publicise their mother like that, and lie over something so serious. If it's not true, then that family has got to be the most disturbed family I've ever heard of.

Yeah I agree there has to be some truth to it surely because nobody can be so sick and twisted to lie about something so serious. I find it odd though about the timing of it coming out, why hasnt she said that from the start? Her sister that is...and why hasnt makosi said a single thing about it. I think this story true or not will bring back some sympathy votes for her though as the public are softies when it comes to things like this.

Yeah if its not true then that woman and her family have no respect and lack of respect for others they are all liars but I think there must be some truth to it as they would know it would cause backlash if it was false.

Makosi's mum has constant headaches caused by the tumor behind her right eye which will eventually threat her life. According to the Sun the operation is going to cost tens of thouands of pounds and Makosi thinks she will make enough money to cover the operation just by appearing on the show and from the deals she gets afterwards.

I don't think it's a lie. I read ages ago (before everybody hated Makosi) probably the 4th or 5th week in that one of the main reasons Makosi became a nurse was because her mother has been ill for quite a while. And that she used to travel back and forth to Zimbabwe to visit her.

I don't think they are making it up because if they are theyre gunna get a huge amount of stick for it. I just think theyre not playing fair by telling the papers that she does have a tumour.

But you never know, if she is ill why didn't Makosi get her pushed through the NHS being a quite wealthy nurse.

Yes plus she wears expensive clothes and has expensive perfumes etc plus at one point she said they had a bodygaurd and maid? or something like that so money doesnt seem in that much need but i heard her father lost his job as a policeman or something.

To be honest living where her family do just means that she has free reign to tell us what she wants and it is very difficult for it to be confirmed or denied by the press.

If her mum is really ill then I hope she makes enough money to help a bit - if she isnt well I couldnt type on here what I think of people who make up stories like that to get attention from the public.:colour:

ok im really confused now. Her mum and dad live in Africa or where ever it is she comes from. She hasn't seen them since august. Anyway if her mum is ill Makosi will make enough money from magazine and press deals.

Craig won BB1, maybe partly because he said he would give the money to his friend, so that she could have a life saving operation. The difference (apart from the fact that Craig was a genuinely nice guy) is that with the first series, nobody knew whether any of the housemates would make any money after show, apart from the winner. Let's face it, no matter when Makosi gets evicted, she will easily make enough money to pay for her mother's operation from interviews with newspapers, magazines etc.

I truly hope her mother is able to recover - although I don't like Makosi, I wouldn't wish illness on anyone. However, it wouldn't make me vote for Makosi to win. She will easily earn enough money to cover the cost of the op, whenever she goes.

^^ Yeah i agree with this. Craig never told anyone about him using the prize money if he won to pay for the operation though.
