Get Siavash out. :bored:

The dilemma for me:
Getting beyond bored with Marcus who really ought to have been gone weeks ago.
Versus,
Siavash I don't dislike (as the rule) but is beyond plssing me off with this stupid fukking nomination ruining rubbish. In a way I blame BB for that as they could and should simply tell him to nominate or leave.

I dunno. Siavash has been annoying me with this BS for about 3 weeks,
Marcus has been too stupid for about 5,
so,
I'm slightly less sick of Siavash than Marcus.

IF he does this again I would rather just seem him ejected instantly no questions asked and no fanfare. Gone. Done. Instantly.
Then allow the normal nom/eviction as usual.
Ideally that.

The only sane thing that can happen now if for BB to put siavash up on his own against someone.

That way if he stays he can feel guilty about someone going or if he goes he's gone!

Siavash is the most boring idiot BB has ever had.......Why he is so high in the percentages of popularity beggars belief......But then considering the mental state of the nation why should one be surprised....

They should put Siavash up against Sophie. Siavash would probably go. But I wouldn't be bothered if it was Sophie.

will be marcusand siavash up this week, david should just get away with it, but he will go on tuesday, or maybe lisa, but think original housemate lisa deserves to be in final more than david.out of marcus and the vash, could go either way, people are pissed off with siavash so probly him.dont mind marcus in the final as he is hilarious, so long as he doesn't win, not a worthy winner for me.

I said this ages ago, he doesn't have the guts to play the game and face a 1-1 eviction. Or in the past, have himself and/or a nomination ally face a one-one eviction. He much prefers more HMs being up.

I cannot see it being anything other than Marcus v Siavash this week. Very disappointing.

The thought of the resident scumbags Charlie, Lisa and Sophie strolling into the final is to put it quite frankly sickening but it looks like yet again our hands are going to be tied.

Sitting tight and praying for a miracle, a twist or something good to come out of the end of this series.

Not dissapointing if Siavash goes, he's been a cra*p HM all series anyway. He does absolutely nothing, can't even speak English and is a coward.

If it goes as I think it will Siavash will most likely go but in comparison with Lisa i'd say he has done a hell of a lot more than she has.

The only thing she has done is sit on her arse smoking all the time and participated in bullying of another housemate. The 'can't even speak english' comment was a bit out of line wasn't it? Everyone to their own but no need for that really.

No, anyone can learn English, of any race. His poor English skills makes him very hard to understand and ultimately boring, as a viewer.

Ahmedfan after all the spouting you did in the early hours of this morning about racism and then to come out with a comment like that.

Shows just how racist you personally are. If I said Sree was a poor speaker of English because it wasnt his first language you would claim me a racist.

It has often been claimed that people who like to cite racism or claim others are being racist are in fact themselves the real racists. It's a belief up until now I didnt find held much water.

I hate to say this but in your case it looks like being true.

AhmedFan2004
24-08-2009, 03:02 PM
I wouldn't call you racist for it, and Sree speaks far better English than Siavash.

I can't make out what Siavash is saying most of the time, his English is terrible. And for me this provides dull, pointless nauseating viewing.

It has nothing to do with his race, anyone can have good or bad English skills, including white people.

I could say the same thing about a chav who can barely string a sentence together.

No I can't, sorry. Care to point it out? And he hasn't just moved to the UK or anything, before you play that card either. It's a conscious decision to acquire good English skills, or not.

I would be wasting my time trying to explain how you used the comment about his level of English as an excuse for wanting him out. Racial bigotry isnt solely a characterististic seen in natives of the UK

Britain is a multicultural society and as such you have to accept there will be different levels of English in use be various peoples.

His level of english is his concern, if you draw inference from his standard of knowledge of the language as either his inability to attempt to integrate into British society or his lack of ability to learn new languages, then it shows your own bigotry.

I don't like Siavash as a housemate......However I don't understand the comments about his English speaking ability.....His English is ok just the irritating slowness of his talking is what grinds on me....

The slowness is I believe not down to por English but instaed down to tha fact he is not the brightest of sparks and speaks slowly because he has to think harder and longer what to say that will sound remotely intelligent....

I accept there's different levels, but he's at such a low level at times that it makes for very poor viewing. And like I said, it has nothing to do with race, because he's lived in England long enough to have learnt the language well, or not. It's his own decision, and also based on his skill. It's not an issue pertaining to his race. Most foreign people in England speak the language adequately.

Well there you go then, it's because he's a dumba*ss, it's not a racial issue, like Shasown seems to be thinking. You either bothered to learn it well, or you just simply don't have the ability.

In either case, not a racial issue, unless someone believes that some races are just dumb.

It's pretty much a dead cert that it's going to be Marcus v Siavash this week then.

BAD news for the final week. BB should put them all up.

And AhmedFan, there are people BORN in this country who speak worse English than Siavash does, I found your comment to be quite racist actually.

Exactly, thus it's not a racial issue then, even white english people can suck at it.

It's an ability issue, and/or an issue regarding whether one has the motivation to learn the language proficiently. It's not a racial issue. It's not like certain races are pre-disposed to sucking at English.

Pointless using someone else's opinion to bolster a defence for yourself. And funny old thing but some societies do believe that some races are dumb (lazy etc).

Hardly surprising really when racism and bigotry have been inbuilt into the cultures of the Indian subcontinent for hundreds of years, After all wasn't the Indian Caste System the worlds first and longest standing system of Apartheid?

Would you say the same thing about Charlie for example then? Or David? Because I find them harder to understand than Siavash most of the time.

Or are you doing what you accuse other FM's of doing and simply jumping on the bandwagon of hating the forums choice of HM they dislike and coming out with petty reasons to dislike them?

Lisa, David, Charlie, Sophie, they all have very poor command of the English language, but I don't see you commenting on their lack of motivation to learn and speak it properly?

how is it racist to say you can't understand what someone is saying? if they live in England, they should at least be able to speak a real level of ENGLISH. You know? the language of the nation.

that's not racist, it's the truth.

I didnt say it was racist to say you didnt understand what someone is saying, if you look back through the posts on the thread.

As for understanding Siavash, I find the way he speaks to be fully comprehensible, aside from the fact he speaks annoyingly slow as if he weighs up every word he speaks.

I said to use it as an excuse for him to be thrown out as Ahmedfan stated could be seen as being racist.

Then its a great shame you didnt actually make that statement in your original post as opposed to a comment that could be seen as being racist,

Not dissapointing if Siavash goes, he's been a cra*p HM all series anyway. He does absolutely nothing, can't even speak English and is a coward.

Particularly after this morning's arguement where you voiced eloquently and at great length how Indians had suffered so much racism over 50 years from the hands of the British oppressors. (Conveniently missing the irony in this opinion given the Indian caste system and bigotry present in indian society).

And how people had the right to be offended because of the history of the forefathers sufferance. Given that Siavash's family came from Iran relatively recently, its more than likely as a result of some form of oppression. unlike most Indians who emigrated as a means to a better life financially.
