I happened to come across a little(little) article in a magazine the other day that tells me that Michelle and Stu have had a blazing row and they are no more. A friend of Michelles said the split was for definant and they shall definitely not be getting back together. Does this surprise anyone?

THE first Big Brother couple to bonk in the house - Michelle Bass and Stuart Wilson - have split up after a huge row.

The couple met in the fifth series a year ago - and got it on under a table.

After the show finished they moved in together in St Albans, Herts. But now hunky Stu, 20 - who Michelle dubbed "Chicken" - has left and gone to see friends and family in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

A pal said: "They had a massive row and he packed his bags. It's definitely over."

Stuart's agent said: "They've gone through a bit of a rough patch and decided to have time apart."

Stuart went on bended knee to propose to her on Valentine's Day. She immediately squealed: "Yes."

Next day the blissfully happy sweethearts went looking for an engagement ring hand in hand. The couple did not set a date for the wedding but they were expected to invite BB hosts Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary and Celebrity Big Brother's Jeremy Edwards.

Michelle, 24 - who confessed to Davina that she and Stu had sex in the BB house - had a boob job and became a glamour model.

She became the face of TVX The Fantasy Channel.

Before her row with Stuart she said: "I think he's the one. I love absolutely everything about him. He says I look beautiful ten times a day. I couldn't ask for more.

"Who cares if we met on a reality TV show?

"We have a relationship that works - and that's all that matters.

"Good luck to anybody else who finds themselves in the same situation.

"Once the initial interest cools down, you just get on with your life like anyone else."

At the weekend we opened our morning papers to read the devastating news that Michelle Bass and 'Chicken' Stuart Wilson had split.

According to tabloid reports, the Big Brother couple had a blazing row which ended in Stu packing his bags and finishing their year-long relationship.

Aaaahh, and with them on the front of OK magazine last week discussing wedding plans as well.

Only last month Michelle, who is still enjoying her new job working for Adult Channel Fantasy X, told the Chronicle that they were still blissfully happy, 12 months after sealing their love under the Big Brother dining table.

But when Angel Eyes contacted Michelle at her home in St Albans, the Dinnington lass was surprisingly cagey. And at first she even claimed not to know too much about the reports.

"Yeah, I did hear something," she said, sounding a little worn out.

So, is it true?

"I'm not really allowed to comment on that, chick," she said in her inimitable style.

How come?

"Erm, I'm just not able to say anything at the minute. You'll have to speak to Katherine at my management company, chick. I wish I could say more. I'd even put you on to Stu but he can't say anything either."

So Stu's with you?

At 9am?

Michelle's publicist Katherine Lister confirmed the reality TV favourites had indeed been on the rocks.

She said: "Michelle and Stuart have been going through a rough patch.

"Stuart left last week to go and stay with friends and family but he went back to Michelle's in St Albans on Monday. They haven't split up."

Break-up or no break-up, the story succeeded in knocking new kids on the block Maxwell and Saskia out of the headlines.

One-nil to Stuart and Michelle. They're obviously not going to give up their Golden Couple crown without a fight.

I think they have almost certainly split up, but it's bad timing (for their agent/s anyway), because they have a column on the current series of Big Brother in OK magazine. So I think they're trying to do a cover up job on the break up until after the series has finished.

It's a shame, but I can't say I'm really surprised.

So why do you think they have spilt because it said in some mags.

I read a different story in OK mag and when michelle and stuart have said they have spilt i will belive it, To then never belive what you read in papers

No you can't believe everything you read in the papers, but I believe that in this case, there's no smoke without fire. And when Michelle was asked about it, she said she couldn't comment - don't you think that if it wasn't true, she would say it wasn't true? if the story was a pack of lies, they would come right out and say so, I'm sure, and she wouldn't be told that she couldn't talk about it, if the story was false.

xhelenx, the reason I'm not surprised is because - although I wish them all the best - I didn't really think they were suited, but that's just my opinion.

If anything splits them up it will be her involment with the TV channel TVX. Remember how prudish stuart could be. I cannot see him being comfortable with that turn of events.

She didn't actually say he was there, that was just an assumption. And if he was there, maybe he was collecting his things.

Who knows what the truth is, and although I feel sorry for them, they'll get over it.

I agree though, when I heard she had got a job with the Fantasy Channel, or whatever channel it is, and what with all the modelling she's doing lately, I thought Stuart might not be too happy with that, unless he's changed his views dramatically since they were in the house together.

Also, I still think that if the story was a load of rubbish, Michelle would not have been cagey at all when she was asked about it - they would have denied the story outright, probably before they were even asked about it.

True. I am not knocking Mischelle even if she is tempted further into the business..She is an adult and knows her own mind. I just don't believe Stewart would be able to handle it...Hence a split if not now will become inevitable..

She has less than a bra and pants on the television X page. She said she wanted to do porn before she came into Big Brother house last year. If she wants to do porn that is up to her. This is the 22nd Century and I hope we are more liberal these days.... she had the guts to say what she wanted to do and that could have got her voted out last year early in the show... but it didn't. She was a great housemate and it was a shame she didn't make it to the last four.

The thing is, like bananarama said and I have said before, Stuart wasn't keen on her showing off her body in a sexual way.... it must have caused tension between them when she got the Television X job. Couple that with the stress of her moving house which was brought on the strength of that sort of TV work and things are bound to get worse.

I still hope they can sort it out..... but if they can't I hope they had a wonderful year together.

The OK cover says they had a bust up but are still friends but when you read the interview inside it says they are back together.

It doesn't make sense, I think OK want to keep everyone guessing for a bit longer.
