Yes, you are very quick, I do not like Charlie.

I further believe that Charlie does not even like himself. Otherwise why would he steal food and booze, if not to block out the self loathing.

One of the main reasons I've enjoyed this years show is precisely because of the relatively small number of repellant characters like Charlie. In previous years I've felt there were too many shreaky, fake, fame hungry, shallow, vapid and vane individuals who, quite frankly, were not going to be allowed to invade my living room of an evening. In the past few years, within a week or so I've stopped watching, because I just hate them all and dont' care one bit who wins. If Sree had stayed I'd quite probably have stopped watching (found him uterly vile, duplicitous and he gave me the creeps) but the only thing in Charlie's favour is that he's so lacking in real personality that he very rarely dominates the HLs show. Thank god.
