I am a happily married straight woman, BUT, why do I still see posts concerned with someone's sexuality, What does it matter, its just a type of bigitosem as far as I'm concerned

Peoples sexuality does not make the tiniest bit of difference to how they are as a person...so i dont see why it should matter to anyone.

I have Gay friends, nice folk in good relationships, but they don't advertise it and i am not keen to see it.

there's nothing wrong with discussing a persons sexuality. It is a discussion forum after all. What IS wrong is people being obsessed that a particular person is lying about thier sexuality. Or that a person thinks he is straight but he can't possibly be.
For example:
Siavash must be gay because he says he is straight and yet he wears eyeliner and scared of spiders.
It's really stoopid!!

Why for goodness sake, they are just normal people you know, I can not understand the bigotry.
Then again my family are from Ireland and when we came over in the 70's, they were treated as something that should never be accepted just because we were different
