Perception is a great tool or weapon! Marcus is perceived due to his constant swearing and appearance as being mean, unfair and a bully.
Sophie on the other hand is perceived as being naive, innocent, and ditzy.

Sophie goes SINGLE HANDEDLY and by her own IDEA into Marcu's private space and steals one of his posessions and because of perceptions of the different people Sophie gets away with it AND Marcus takes the heat for it!!!

Can you imagine the uproar if the situation had been reversed and Marcus had invaded Sophies private space and stolen one of her possessions???

Where were Rodrigo's strong morals and sense of right and wrong when he was guzzling down the STOLEN alcohol?? Rodrigo is a player BIG TIME!!!

Marcus is BY FAR the only housemate who knows right from wrong in every situation!

When people are liked and charming they tend to get away with most things, no matter how wrong they are.
If people are not liked or charming, they will get punished for everything....
That's the way life is....

You can't trust a fake-breasted, binge-drinker who lies and steals.

She is a poisonous role model for all young girls.

Agreed, but some of the attempts to get Sophie off the hook out here are driving people to despair. Besides which the precedent has already been set with regard to multiple threads on the same topic.

To reiterate what is probably the single most strongest view on the matter.

If the situation had been reversed we would be literally swamped with threads nailing Marcus / Siavash to the wall several times over.

It isn't debate out here anymore it is point scoring.

How right you are and 'to begin with' the alcohol was no-one's. Just a bulk good for communal consumption put into the house for those who consume such a commodity. Hence Sophie couldn't steal it.

Shared out equally between the housemates, bought from the shopping budget.

They had their share, why take his also?

Obtained with the tokens won for the nasty food task. So, Sophie was entitled to none? They are a group.

Strange post. Vicky mentioned nothing about Sophie not being entitled to anything, rather that she was entitled to her share and not to someone else's. That seems fairly straightforward.

It's best just to set him on 'ignore' -- he's an amateur troll who, based on what I've seen from people who've quoted his posts, rarely has anything worthwhile to contribute.

Marcus is the biggest hearted HM in there...alturistic to the end; always putting others before himself:

Fish and Chips anyone?
