View Full Version : Are we all taking this too seriously?

After becoming really annoyed that my two favourites are up for eviction and further annoyed at some of the comments about Marcus (who I think is great) it occured to me, why? It really doesn't matter. Each year I get so involved, wanting my favourite to win and the nasties to be evicted but by two days after the final I have forgotton all about it. I think I will really try not to watch if there is another series next year, it's not good for the stress levels, for the same reason I gave up watching shipwrecked after the 2008 series.

I know what you mean! It's Lisas herd that's taking it to seriously!
But it is good entertainment at times and you really get to know the characters like no other show

i think being so involved is part of the fun of big brother though.
i i mean imagine if no one cared who did what , then no one would vote and we wouldnt even have the show.

i know, its no good raising the stress levels for no reason.
why marcus against siavsh, WHYYYYYY?!
hmm... i'm not taking it too seriously but i am getting annoyed/stressed by things i don't need to be annoyed about, although sometimes i feel the same way about watching films!
I do enjoy big brother but i tend to refer to it as big bother... unfourtunately if the beast does rise again Iwill probably watch it, its a guilty pleasure! people just have to not get too involved and treat it with a sense of humour- something the housemates clearly can not (except for a few).

I love bitching about all the housemates, they always put dickheads in and it wouldn't be the same if they didn't piss us off.
A good rant is good for the soul

haha strange the forum does that to me also
It's only in the past few series (probably since BB7) that I really started getting into it, and I've always got LOADS of opinions on everyone lol.
And since my Sky+ arrived, I've been able to watch EVERYTHING! :hello:

I know what you mean, we get so involved, spending money on evictions etc. and for what? The winner to be crowned and then show over.

I think we are, especially when one chap said he would vote to evict Siavash 100 times. That's lunacy!

I haven't taken it seriously since Freddie left, the bully gang have voted out all my favourites so far and another one will go on Friday. I hope that Marcus stays and wins:love:
