Attacking HM's family members/outside lives on forum

There are some things which I feel overstep the mark on a BB forum.

When abuse is hurled at family members who have nothing to do with the 'gameshow'. Some of the stuff hurled at the HMs is bad enough (and some of it I agree with and am guilty of myself - all part of the BB experience!), but bringing in HM's 'parents' with vile threads and posts.

This also includes trying to discredit HMs on 'supposed' facts around their personal lives (e.g. Lisa's dole money etc. - as much as I dislike her, and there have been other examples).

I think it sucks and mods should be onto this - just my opinion of course. Stick to the 'gameshow' :bored:

There's been one or two threads tonight, and in the past - more indirect slander, but slander none-the-less. People may think I'm over-reacting, but I just feel it's so unnecessary. We have enough to pop at with the HMs themselves :spin2:

Totaly agree here, We do love to hate housemates and it's why there is still a show but some people over step the mark on insulting family members ect!

Personally on the Lisa part with her been on the dole I dont think that should have anything to do with her been on BB and why people should hate her over it there is alot more to dislike about her than her been on the dole!

I think people get too far into the hole hating housemate state that they don't even realise that there over stepping the mark and bringing people into it that have nothing got to do with it, one persons behaviour shouldn't reflect on the family or friends they have thats my opinion on that one

Its okay to moan, complain and dislike a housemate, but their family shouldn't come into it at all!
Its a gameshow, it should be about the character, not how the parents act, or what they look like!
I have just read a thread about the parents of a housemate and there is no need for it at all!

Mods should be on to many things, including all the trolling that goes on here at a daily basis, but attacking housemate's family members isn't against the rules. Sophie's parents should be ashamed for producing such a colossal moron.
