The naughty step

Am I right in thinking that so far, the only two housemates to have to sit on the naughty step this year have been Maxwell and Kemal? With some of the behaviour that's gone on in the house, I find that very surprising. I don't even think that what Maxwell or Kemal did was that bad compared to some things that people have done. Well to be honest, I can't remember why Kemal was sent to the step, but I don't remember it being anything that bad.

Wasnt Kemal sent there for putting the toilet brush in Roberto's box? or is that a different thing lol Yeah so far it's just them 2 who have been on it, should have had more though :spin2:

Oh well in that case, maybe Kemal deserved to be sent to the step - it was a disgusting thing to do. But I think a lot more of the housemates should have been sent there too.

i agree they made it a key thing added to the house but have lacked in using it, i think for next year they should have a time out room or a "jail" where housemates can be sent to "prison" for a while to be punished and have to do the sentence in jail lol

Yes, they could have used the loft for that purpose, rather than the purpose it's there for.

For me the loft is to nice, for the next series they need a plain boring room and make them work their punishment out by folding napkins or something realy boring lol.

They should defiantly make more use of it. It the most under used resource in the house. of course they could turn the loft into the naughty room and put housemates that break the rules in there or even in room 101 for the night.

Or even in the secret room they have that space which seems to be unused i hope they do something else with it before the end.

Absolutely right. What I meant was, where they've put the loft, they could have turned that room into a punishment room instead, which just a chair and a mattress, and a worktop where they could do a job like the one you suggested.

To be honest, I don't know why they even bothered putting the naughty step there, as it has hardly been used. Seems a waste of time. It should have been used a lot more, and I also think that when someone is sitting on the step, the other housemates should not be allowed to talk to that person.

That's a golden rule of naughty steps.... when one of my daughters is sitting on it the other one isn't allowed to talk to her or she replaces her on the naughty step.
