just wondering if they got that task because they always sit at the bus ashtray or because they are the only two who could be trusted?

They were the ones dressed as aliens. Anyone else and it would've been obvious who it was due to the lack of proper costume. It could've been anyone it just so happens they had chosen to be the aliens in the task.

They all chose what they wanted to be as per usual with (99%) of the tasks :spin:
not big fans of those two but it was perfect casting...lots of fun! A happy interlude!

It was those two picked to be taken out of the house, while the others were encouraged to create a bit of mayhem, running through the camera runs etc.
BB knew if those two were with the other housemates they would have two people sitting at the bus stop tutting and saying "aren't they bad?" while a couple of others peeked into the run.
Even then they knew that the pair of them wouldnt later disclose that they had in fact failed the alien task by speaking to the public.

Haha, he house feels too empty at the moment. I'll miss it when BB finishes. At least we got X-Factor for entertainment. :)

BB said they had passed the task, however there was a bit of jiggery pokery with the sound during the task, to cover David responding naturally. Saying thank you to a little girl who took the photos for them as she handed the camera back.
They have to do something to make these two look good, so as to give them valid status as finalists, however you cant make a silk purse out of a pig's ear.

He also spoke to a guy who said he wouldnt take the photo.
He only said 'no?' to him, but it is classed as speaking...I would assume

im not one for conspiracy theories myself,i thought bb just told the housemates to liven up as they were all lounging around? im pretty sure bb had no hand in picking david and lisa,housemates decided for themselves i heard.. but i see the point your making but i doubt it was fixed..

Quite amuzing when Lisa thought Dave was talking to her, when he was on the phone to BB. Still Siavash & Marcus would have been funnier, out & about.

It may not have been fixed but it was very convenient for BB to pull the "entertain us" stunt when those two wet blankets were out of the house

very true, and to reiteriate(sp) i'm no fan of those two, but to suggest jigerry pokery re little girls and 'thank yous' is a bit mean? I think the big thing is they didnt engage in communication rather than a throw away word to a child etc?

they only spoke to each other. they didn't speak to the public. I think this was the best task ever. It was hilarious when David was on the phone and Lisa thought he was talking to her.
