Tv is about making money so why would another channel want a show that's died on its arse?

Doesn't make sense.

Well, it does make sense cause not every broadcasting channel is as big as Channel 4, if it moved to Sky 1, let's say, and had 2.5 million viewers, it would be a big hit.

But if it moved there it wouldn't get as many viewers.

a small channel might happily take it cos it is bringing in an average of 2.5m viewers

So what would be the the point of moving to somewhere with even fewer viewers?
