the way he lost it was great. no-one can accuse him of being desperate to stay and doing everything he can. Marcus is true to his word and great entertainment

Siavash wearing those clothes will become boring almost instantly

It also shows he couldn't care less about the money. Unlike a lot of the other fakes in the house like Charlie.

But why is being desperate to stay a bad thing??? They all applied for the show because they wanted to be in it and we want to watch them, so why is someone who couldn't care less being comended for that?

It was Siavash who suggested breaking out of the house, the rest followed.

This can go down 2 paths ...

1) Showing he doesn't care about the money

2) He's spoiling it for the eventual winner, potentially a friend of his

...

I never said it was just him. Siavash has already given up his clothes to win back a share

But compared to what Marcus had to do, his sacrifice was a lot easier.

If everyone else does what there asked to do I think it will look bad for him. I mean cutting his hair??? Seriously BB were doing him a favour really!!

Cutting his hair??? It will grow back!!! He'll look better for it anyway!

Why is it wrong that someone refuses to change their physical appearance just to win money for the winner?

Giving your clothes up is not even close in comparison. I think Marcus refusing is spot on.

LOL, well if Siavash goes on Friday I will be backing Marcus, it's just unfortunate that these two are up this week

Because it's a show and it's only hair, people have had shave off eyebrows, that was alot worse than cutting off that horrible rats tail he has!!!

I am glad someone finally stood up to BB after all these years! Ten years it took for someone to say NO to big brother, I could never understand that!

They done it voluntarily. He is being forced to do it for money.

Good for Marcus, he was right to refuse, I bet if they asked the other Hms to do something that would alter their appearence the arselickers would do it apart from Little cute Sophie, so I for one say hooray for Marcus hail the king of bb house and all must knee before him. lol:laugh2:

The man has some integrity, even if he's on BB I respect him for that. Unlike seabass who despite not living by BB rules, soon caved in to their demand.
Keep Marcus in!

So you reckon if sea of ash was asked to shave his head down to the wood and lose the beard, he would do it immediately?

Sea of Ash hasnt made a sacrifice he knows they will give him his clothes back, its just another costume change for the poseur

It's a part of him, and has obviously taken years to grow. He doesn't care about the money and that is obvious. I respect him for not just caving in to any humiliating situation BB throws his direction, just to win money for the group.

Oh and to the shaving off eyebrows, I am assuming you are referring to Noirin becoming a HM?? Lets be honest could ANYBODY tell she had shaved off her eyebrows? I couldn't!

yes is pathetic, does it not occur to him thaty he would look a million times better if he just had a shave and a haircut, reckon he would be quite nice looking actually, but still....it wouldnt change his godawful personality, so let him stay ugly outside as well as inside!!

Lets not get away from what is actually going on. His hair whether people like it or not is his. Why the fk should he cut it off. He is being setup plain and simple.

They knew damn well he wouldn't do it

edit - from BB site

Sometimes Big Brother decides to do certain things, knowing full well what the outcome will be. On this occasion, it was calling Marcus into the Diary Room to offer him cash for his hair…

Now to all the haters here is a personal message from me .. go and fk yourselves : )

great that he told bb to f off..he knows no one in there gives a damn about him so why the hell should he cut off his ponytail only for them to benefit from it..siavash said give it to charity, then quick as a flash did his task ..so we now know he wants the money ..if marcus leaves on friday he will leave as he went in with full hair and the winner will be down on the prize money...fantastic.....
