I'm guessing that you missed the opening night show. On her VT before Lisa entered the house she stated that she had no intention of working, that was one of the reasons why she got booed going in.

For anyone saying that the OP is being slanderous, they are not. Lisa said it herself and it is impossible to slander yourself. They are just repeating what she said.

The basic facts without emotional bias are:

Lisa was receiving JSA.

Lisa said she had no intention of working and her daily routine did not include job searching, which would be a breach of her JSA agreement.

Therefore if people want to call her a scrounger or benefit cheat then they are entitled to do so because it has a basis of fact (Lisa saying it herself).

If she was signing on and not looking for work it isn't a major crime, all that would happen would be her JSA being stopped (it would have been stopped when she entered the house anyway).

So there is no slander and no need to be so insulting to the OP, it is their opinion and has a basis of fact.

What I do find amazing is that the majority believe that it is ok to sign on and have no intention of looking for work. If you do subscribe to this view then you should contact the DHSS and complain about the terms of the job seekers agreement (in making people look for work when unemployed) rather than spitting hatred at the OP.

I don't think that Lisa is totally evil either, in fact I think that she has misrepresented herself and would probably be disappointed with the way she came across for so many weeks.

I believe that some people do things in order to cope with the isolation. For Freddie it was analysing everything, for Lisa it has been bitching at the bus stop. She probably didn't mean to do it all the time but it was a routine that helped her through the days. A lot of her behaviour may have been from a basic instinct too, egged on by the fact that she had the others following her.

Sadly she got defensive with Freddie from the go (in their last weeks together they looked like they could have got on) and then seemed to be stuck in a rut which made her seem very bitter. It is a shame as she has shown us a few glimpses of her being a decent person. Those few glimpses are not enough to excuse her behaviour over the 10 weeks though.

I actually do hope that she finishes higher than Charlie though as he has been worse than Lisa.

Freddie's wealth & education were not the main reason Lisa & MOST of the hms bullied him.

Most of the hms are there for the money whether they admit it or not.

They are all squatting in the house.

She has worked all her life up until 4 months before entering the house therefore more entitled than many people to receive the dole.

Not sure how much the other hms will contribute to society either.

You can't help how you look or where you're from.

She is far from a begger & a high percentage of the UK live in council estates.

Hey Topspin, who paid for your schooling? Who paid for and pays for your medical care? The welfare state same as it pays Lisa to provide for her till she earns sufficient to pay her own way, while she has been in the house she isnt allowed to claim, also any council tax and housing benefit she was on will have been stopped.

When she gets out she may get some money for interviews from magazines and the like, but having been on TV whilst in the house, when or if she goes back to sign on the benefits agency will ask her to show bank statements etc to prove she doesnt have in excess of the savings limit.

I'm guessing that you missed the opening night show. On her VT before Lisa entered the house she stated that she had no intention of working, that was one of the reasons why she got booed going in.

For anyone saying that the OP is being slanderous, they are not. Lisa said it herself and it is impossible to slander yourself. They are just repeating what she said.

The basic facts without emotional bias are:

Lisa was receiving JSA.

Lisa said she had no intention of working and her daily routine did not include job searching, which would be a breach of her JSA agreement.

Therefore if people want to call her a scrounger or benefit cheat then they are entitled to do so because it has a basis of fact (Lisa saying it herself).

If she was signing on and not looking for work it isn't a major crime, all that would happen would be her JSA being stopped (it would have been stopped when she entered the house anyway).

So there is no slander and no need to be so insulting to the OP, it is their opinion and has a basis of fact.

What I do find amazing is that the majority believe that it is ok to sign on and have no intention of looking for work. If you do subscribe to this view then you should contact the DHSS and complain about the terms of the job seekers agreement (in making people look for work when unemployed) rather than spitting hatred at the OP.

We're kind of straying off subject here. I was saying that you were shooting yourself in the foot with this campaign against Lisa. Your making people sympathise with her because of your acid tongued remarks about her. Your basing your whole argument on her VT. People tend to big themselves up on these things to appeal to "voters". She used to work and you can hardly call that concrete. Everybodies done bad things in that show. Everybody loves Marcus but he did bully Sree. Even Freddy who is more elequent in expressing himself still dissed people. She's come from a rough background not everybody gets a good headstart like Freddy, Siavash or Sophie.

I'm guessing that you missed the opening night show. On her VT before Lisa entered the house she stated that she had no intention of working, that was one of the reasons why she got booed going in.

For anyone saying that the OP is being slanderous, they are not. Lisa said it herself and it is impossible to slander yourself. They are just repeating what she said.

The basic facts without emotional bias are:

Lisa was receiving JSA.

Lisa said she had no intention of working and her daily routine did not include job searching, which would be a breach of her JSA agreement.

Therefore if people want to call her a scrounger or benefit cheat then they are entitled to do so because it has a basis of fact (Lisa saying it herself).

If she was signing on and not looking for work it isn't a major crime, all that would happen would be her JSA being stopped (it would have been stopped when she entered the house anyway).

So there is no slander and no need to be so insulting to the OP, it is their opinion and has a basis of fact.

What I do find amazing is that the majority believe that it is ok to sign on and have no intention of looking for work. If you do subscribe to this view then you should contact the DHSS and complain about the terms of the job seekers agreement (in making people look for work when unemployed) rather than spitting hatred at the OP.

i watched this and i think she comes across quite well to be honest. she didn't say anything about not wanting to work either. a lot of the other hm vts make them look like idiots. hers was ok

I actually quite liked her based on her vt. It was only later that I realized what a trout she is.
