I don't think they'll win all the money back at all.

Ch 4 are trying to save as much money as they can this year.

I can see the prize fund ending up being around 70k or something like that.

There isn't as much interest in the mags and newspapers this year and what with Katie Price, Peter Andre and Kerry Katona the space in the rags is pretty much being swallowed up by those three boring the readers to tears. (I would just like to open my newspapers to a KP,PA and KK freezone - no chance I suppose!)

I agree completely with the OP. They wouldn't get away with doing that, it's part of the contract, and one of fundamental terms of the show. Marcus (based on the clips I've seen)..only sharp one in there.

Does someone know for sure its written in this years contract there will def be prize money? For all we know they have left it out if they knew this was the last ever BB what a twist, plus it would be fun seeing who is desperate enough to win back the money rather than "I am only here for the experience of being on BB"

It would have to be in the contract, the prize money was a declaration by BB.

The year Nadia won it the prize money was taken away and she only won about 65 thousand. The prize money has to be there at the start however as its a game show the prize fund can be reduced or increased on the whims of BB. Consequently the contact only needs to state "win up to £100,000".

Incidentally its Endemol (technically Brighter Pictures- a subsidary of endemol), who runs BB not CH4, they only air it. so Channel 4 wont be saving anything by the prize money being taken away.

well something to look forward to then, we will see how much they do get for winning, previous shows they have made more by being evicted half way through because once BB is over so is all the magazine deals unless they are really popular with the public

This is purely a ruse by BB to increase TV ratings, knowing BB fans will stay tuned to see how and if the HMs' will succeed.
