In my humble opinion (and because I can't be a*sed to type em all out), I believe these were the main characters of BB10 (in terms of soap like storylines, entertainment etc.).
Which one was THE main character in your opinion (and NOT necessarily your favourite)?

You have to break it down into segments really, and I do think you're forgetting someone who was a huge part of the start of the show: Sree.

Freddie was the main character and would of been a worthy winner.

Noirin
She was very naughty and conceited but she made the show interesting.

Every month had a new star it seems.
1. June Sree
2. July Noirin
3. August Bee
Storylines isn't something I normally associate with Big Brother, but I actually can't believe how much this series has felt like a soap opera.
The whole series has gone in blocks with different people leading the show. The first few weeks it was Freddy, then Sree, then Norin, then Marcus, then Bea.
Bea was my personal favourite and the one I've voted for, simply because I can't remember another housemate like her - and I doubt there will be again. (Thank God I hear you cry! )

Well, love em both, but for me Freddie just edges it as he had more of the 'soap' like stories (Lisa's mob, coming of age with rabbitgate (and his American History X makeover), Bea...). Marcus and Freddie are equals for me in terms of characters in themselves - mannerisms, one-liners (although Marcus has the best one-liners)....But really as a pollster I shouldn't be getting involved in such debate

Think Freddie let himself down badly in the last few weeks, with his friendship with Bea and his burgeoning ego that had always been there but he was forced to hide becuz of the bullying he had to endure. In essence, we were kinda forced to like him and to deny his irrating behaviour. Think Marcus is irrating too but he's so bloody entertaining and consistent. That's why I'd have him ahead.

Well, I guess we could debate this one for a while. I did cringe at some of Freddie's antics at times, and he was immature, but in the end and overall I never felt 'forced' to like him, but really felt a connection with him as others did (for some odd reason - and I don't vote Tory by the way!).
I think Marcus could also be inconsistent on a few things (one day he hates em all, next day he loves em all) and his behaviour during Noirin (a good 2-3 weeks) was really tiresome (didn't really like him at that point). They both had their weaknesses, particularly due to two manipulative women.
I do believe Freddie amd Marcus were true to themselves in there....and both have kind hearts.

Absolute wrong, his ego boost was when Bea came in (he liked her and she was saying i really like you and all that), and liek he said, he wernt being cocky, he thought he would stay because he wanted to stay and Marcus wanted to go, but i will agree, it did seem a lil cocky at the time.
And to say we were forced to like him is so rude, I liked him cuz I thought he was a funny geniune chap, the bullies at the time were jsut big headed idiots. Yes at times he was abit irritating, but arnt they all?

I'm saying we liked him more becuz of the bullying he had to endure. That's a fair comment and not wrong as far as I can see. He has very annoying habits that we accepted more readily becuz of the position he had been placed in within the house. And his "humour" was us laughing at his jovial ways of expressing himself which would drive any sane person mad after awhile. mmmm over every tiny morsel of food is a perfect example.
I admired his courage and integrity when he was being bullied but thought he let himself down badly in the end. We're all in control of our own behaviour and its unfair to attach all the blame on Bea for his silliness at the end.

Yes, but setanta, marcus let himself down by playing all odd with Noirin - so they both 'fell' in that way but at different points.
As I said, they both have their faults. Just because Freddie acted like a bit of a fool for a few days over a woman, and vented some of his spleen in a silly way back at Lisa (and boy didn't she deserve it!) and was indeed immature at times, doesn't devalue his integrity imo. He was totally himself in there and his mannersisms I actually found endearing rather than annoying (but I suppose I wasnlt living with him).....still a good soul, nonetheless

I already favoured him before all the bullying, but yes, I see the bullying would made people like him more (who likes bullies? :yuk:) . His habitits are funny (at times :joker:) but thats not just his humour, he had a big personality and i thought he was a cool geniune chap.
I for one would be happy to but all the blame on Bea, he had been locked in that house 6 weeks, she watched the show, she came along and new all the buttons to press. He wernt meanign to sound cocky that pass week, he shoudl have gone on to win. Hated the whole Freddie vs Marcus eviction

His venting towards Lisa was all to do with the fact that he had lost control over the situation. So much repressed anger that he had to exhume at that stage bcuz his gameplan had fallen apart when Bea turned to the dark side, which in an ironic way had to do with the Three Morons and their little games which led to Hira's downfall and their own isolation. Architects of their own demise becuz they believed their own hype unfortunately. Too easy to lay the blame entirely on the women.

Architects of their own demise becuz they believed their own hype unfortunately. Too easy to lay the blame entirely on the women.
Your just a Freddie-hater, looking to make him look bad, very nasty of you. :nono:
But, as I must, respect your opinion.
When he argued with Lisa, it was probably him at 100% anger, but even then he didnt get very angry and aggressive and it didnt last for long. Lisa deserved that after all he was put through by her anyway, she thinks she rules the hosue at times.
Without rulesbreaks the show would get boring, I thought they were funny when they went full rule break mode, idiots, yes, funny, oh yes. Siavash got let off likely compared to Freddie and Marcus though :nono:
I was so devasted for Hira when she left :(
And it wernt their fault she left, they were all put up when everybody started speakign about noms, that involved everybody apart from Hira, Lisa and David i think.

You have to break it down into segments really, and I do think you're forgetting someone who was a huge part of the start of the show: Sree.
Granted, and I will work on the polling skills (first one!), but it's late and I wanted some quick answers - haha.
Also wanted an overall view, not segments.
Click 'none of these' if any other HM is bigger and state who in your post....:spin2:
Ah don't worry. I'm not having a go or anything. Overall though it has to be Marcus right? He was involved in all the storylines really.
Women were the downfall for the them. And both women were little biatches, id be happy to blame them :laugh2:

Never said it was their fault, although Siavash continued with the same tactic. His anger at Lisa took along time to surface and was motivated by his loss in an ally, nothing more. I'm not a hater of Freddie; just like to see things objectively and not be biased in my views.

Marcus is the biggest character but Freddie had the most important storyline after being bullied by Team Lisa and Bea.

Freddie, Angel, Sree, Marcus, Bea and Noirin are the biggest characters of BB10.

Noirin easily. Though Freddie was up there too.
Perhaps Sree should have been in the poll too? More so than Rodrigo anyway.

Yeh, sure, he possibly could have made the list, but the poll was done late last night (!) and was just my perspective on it...so added 'none of these' to allow for any other HMs...

The fact that a petition had 6,000+ signatures to put Freddie back in, is an indication of how popular he was:thumbs:
