He was playing a strategic game, not nominating those he liked least.

Marcus's ego has suffered at the hands of Siavash.

He took his imaginary girlfriend Noirin off him.

He beat him at wrestling.

He also outlasted him in BB.

Marcus will get over it.

Rubbish, he nominated people for reasons, although sometimes silly reasons. This week for instance nominating Sophie for stealing his beer. He could have been strategic and nominated Siavash, as him and David getting more votes, there was a less likely chance he'd be up.
If you want to look at strategic voting then take a look at Charlie and Lisa and their bloc voting.

Make it so!

and then stole a token!

Marcus nominated Sophie and David because he knew a nomination for Sophie was a wasted nomination that would not compromise the likelyhood of David being up. The fact that Siavash refused to nominate scuppered Marcus's strategy, as he said at the table when the results were announced. He had hoped that David would be in the mix to save himself.

That doesn't make any sense at all. Surely to be strategic you don't throw away a wasted nomination. He knew Siavash was going to get a few nominations but didn't nominate him, leaving it less likely Siavash would be up.
