haven't watched any BB stuff at all since fridays eviction. So not up to date and etc. What where the eviction percentages? anyone know? cheers.
Marcus was great entertainment though in his eviction interview and you could tell Davina and George et al were somewhat in awe of the big man.
Was a wee bit drunk but do remember everyone hailing him as the best HM of not just this year but the best HM EVER and etc.
Marcus really was TV gold, what with the persona he created etc, and it was clear that other profesionals(Davina etc) readily recognised his talent.
I also mind the big guy(forget his name) sat next to Marcus advising that Marcus could have a future in telly, and that of all this years HMs Marcus is the only one with the possibility of some kind of lasting media career.
So, if we accept that Marcus has talent and is very probably the HM most likely to suceed with some kind of spin off career from the show what do you think this 'career' could be?

you're probably right; marcus is percieved as 'cool' on the outside and he is very popular etc. Loved the way Davina couldn't get the Legend away from the crazy crowd at his eviction. The way they wanted autographs and photo's etc was MASSIVE.
I wonder why Davina and George sucked up to Marcus though. Maybe cos they know he's a loose cannon and if they had said anything cheeky to him he woulda firmly put them in their places. No one want's to be publicly humiliated on telly after all.

Did you not hear the booing? I admit a lot of people are huge marcus fans but surely more people hate him. Just because he's popular on a forum doesnt mean the general piublic like him. no, i was refering to the adulation he got from the crowd and everyone else in the post eviction interview.
I remember him getting involved with the crowd and giving autographs and laughing and joking with them...shaking numerous outstretched hands and taking photo's with peoples phones etc. He's clearly a talented entertainer who has a very real raport with the public etc. With a capable agent i think Marcus has a good chance...

on the forums he goes on where he as made 1,000's of posts where has been a member of for years have got right behind marcus and think hes even better now they have seen him on TV than the fun he brought them on the forums! marcus as a massive fan base more than anyother BB housemate ever has ever will! marcus is the new Jade of BB i can see him making millions! fans = £££££££££ no fans = **** all nada no money!

I think Marcus will get himself an obscure slot presenting something that will go with his persona. As was said on the eviction show maybe a Robot Wars type thing or heavy metal show. Can't see him doing a kids show or radio though.
Don't forget, probably the most promising BB housemate ever was Pete who could have gone onto great things if it were not for his illness that precluded him from doing anything mainstream.

You dont 'like' Marcus because he doesn't fit into your sterotypical(sp) 'idea' of what a bloke should be, this 'idea' has no doubt been formed by your limited life experiences.

You don't seem to 'get' the big mans sense of humour. Don't seem to be able to conceptualise the fact that BB is a gameshow and Marcus created a very entertaining persona that was enjoyed by many people(mostly the discerning adults amongst us).
You especially seem to resent adults and the fact that many adults have the intellectual capacity to realise that Marcus's 'TV persona' is just that - a persona that works very well in that it gathers strong responses from viewers.
Not everyone(hardly anyone over 25)is going to share your rather petulant attitude toward the enduring legend. Your sense of frustration will lessen as you get older though.

haven't watched any BB stuff at all since fridays eviction. So not up to date and etc. What where the eviction percentages? anyone know? cheers.
Marcus was great entertainment though in his eviction interview and you could tell Davina and George et al were somewhat in awe of the big man.
Was a wee bit drunk but do remember everyone hailing him as the best HM of not just this year but the best HM EVER and etc.
Marcus really was TV gold, what with the persona he created etc, and it was clear that other profesionals(Davina etc) readily recognised his talent.
I also mind the big guy(forget his name) sat next to Marcus advising that Marcus could have a future in telly, and that of all this years HMs Marcus is the only one with the possibility of some kind of lasting media career.
So, if we accept that Marcus has talent and is very probably the HM most likely to suceed with some kind of spin off career from the show what do you think this 'career' could be?

Marcus is a HUGE crowd puller. The eviction crowd loved him. Why else would they want his autograph and shake his hand and get him to take pics of them and etc.
Dent and Davina really liked Marcus. As did George Lamb and the other bloke.
He clearly has charisma and charm as everyone who meets him seems to love him. He was such a natural on the BBLB with Dom Jolly etc. Dom Jolly seemed to geniunely like Marcus. He's respected by those in the profesional entertainment industry and recognised as a real talent. We will be seing more of him.
In a way B10 'discovered' Marcus and gave him to the public.
The only folk who don't seem to like Marcus are confused niave daft wee lassies who don't have the emotional and intellectual maturity yet to 'get' Marcus and enjoy the remarkable persona he has given us.
It's those that buy into all Marcus's hype that truly lack emotional and intellectual maturity - that is obvious to all - except Marcus fans!
The statement that "He's respected by those in the professional entertainment industry" is, again, pure bull! More Marcus hype - by Marcus fans! Complete unsubstantiated nonsense! Your'e on friendly terms with said professional's I take it - to make such a claim!
The audience included Marcus fans - they wanted his autograph! Some just want the autograph of anyone whose been on tv - whether they like them or not! Another ridiculous remark!

I can never uderstand anyone who could worship another person i.e millions love David Beckham, but people do? marcus as fans because he as stared on a program they are fans of now if you dont like football you will not be a fan of David Beckham the same as if you never liked watching big brother you would not be a fan of marcus or any other houesmate!
