I've been on holiday, and missed a lot, but I've seen the last few shows. Lisa and David are still my fav HM's. They are straightforward, honest and consistent.
Siavash destroyed BB this year with his 'not nominating' antics. It has meant that we will never know the true outcome of how the HM's REALLY feel, with the proper nomination process, and it is just a mess all around.
I don't think any one HM will be a deserving winner this year. What started out as very promising has ended up as the most disappointing BB ever, imo. It looks like a toss up between Sophie and Siavash, and the two of them are as vacuous and as boring as hell.
Sophie a winner? The thing I will remember her for most is her fingers poking about in her hair. Siavash? I'll remember him most for his outright lies and duplicity. I don't like either of them now.
I won't even post here again after this. If the two 'S's' are the favs to win, I'm so glad BB will finish next year, because the public have lost the plot. Siavash has plotted his way into the hearts of the naive. Personally, I can't say one thing I like about him. He's a Dic*. Sophie is just a lazy, silly little girl. If she's the winner - OMG!

I'd give it to David - or if not him, Lisa. Two REAL people who have had a real journey. But it's not to be - and BB will have it's most disappointing winner ever this year in Sophie or Siavash - two crashing bores, which will be proof that axing it is the right thing to do. Probably the best post I've read. I think the 'fans' have lost it this year. I mean Lisa and David got treated like garbage tonight and everyone seems to love it. I think all sense of morality has been lost in the show and it's 'fans' have an endless list of double standards and hypocrisies that they haven't bothered to look up and sort out. Mind-boggling.

I've come to the conclusion, and I think it's quite accurate - It doesn't matter what you actually do in the BB house within reason, but depending on how you look and the 'image' you project, everything else is taken care of and you'll be fine. The fans will twist and distort arguments to support you, turn a blind eye, post vitriol to enemy HMs, distort perception to fit their outlook of x HM being perfect, never changing opinion, etc.

I mean how many times have people said that they'verarely, if ever, changed their opinions on this site. Well what's the point of forums then? Just to waste the day away? If everyone's mindset is static, why bother sharing views or discussing things? The beauty of discussion only comes to life when those involved have a mind like water.

Lisa is my favourite housemate. Think if there was a prize fund (how much is it at now?) then Lisa would be the most sensible with the money and I don't think she wants fame like the rest of them, I'm pretty sure that she went in there for the experience and the money, nothing but. Think if the others won....
Sophie - She'd spend it all on plastic, we'll be seeing her on Celeb BB in a few years if they ever do get another contract looking like Chucky. The news Mrs. Stallone for definite.

Siavash - Could do with a good wax but he'd blow it. Crap cars, crap clothes etc.

Rodrigo - He'd probably have to get the best mental health care possible with it, he definitely needs it

Charlie - He says he'll give it to his Mum, but seriously what can he do? She's in a coma, money won't wake her up. He might put some into private health care but he'll mostly blow it

Seriously, the way the others treated Lisa and David was just not on.
It was so uncomfortable to watch.
And it is really shocking to see the response that it got off most people.

I agree, David is an allright guy but how can anyone really judge what he's like. In the house he's just become an extension of Lisa.

I fail to see how they were treated badly, Lisa was extremely put out by the previous nominations of Siavash & Roddy because she is simply blind to the horror that she is. She went around the house posturing & snarling & shaking wiyh rage saying ridiculous stuff about it being just as well she was in the house.

What does she mean by that, what would she do if they were all on the outside. Resort to violence? I agree with everything you have said Ahmed. And yes, we are watching the wrong show, and I’m sorry I ever found this forum and got involved in posting on it.
BB used to be about ordinary, everyday people who were in the show for the experience and whose journey was notable in some way - REAL people who are true to who they are - warts and all. People much like Lisa, David and Marcus.
Now it’s about vacuous wannabees and which one of them can be the best liar, the most duplicitous and the weakest minded.

Siavash has lied constantly throughout the show, has destroyed it and messed it up single - handedly with his refusals to nominate. He wouldn’t know a moral if it bit him on his hairy ass. Marcus sure had his measure in the end.
He lies outright to Lisa about the number of times he nominated her, he encourages his stooges to ‘walk out’ (what a farce THAT was) but is still there himself. What a MAN! If Lisa had done those things, she would be blasted to hell and back, but it doesn’t seem to matter what people do as long as they look good and keep up a front. I really can’t see a single thing about him that would make him a deserving winner.

Same with Sophie. She had attached herself to Siavash, being the weak minded, empty headed, silly girl that she is.
So those 2 are the favourites? What a sad end to what could have been a cracking BB.
I didn’t particularly like Marcus, and I hated his foul mouth, but he was possibly one of the best and most interesting HM’s ever. And he’s gone. He was too REAL and too honest, and he didn’t go in for all that ‘image’ and plotting bullshit, the lies and the ‘acts’ and the sheer lack of sense and personality that people seem to want in their winner this year.

To me, it isn’t about who I think is the coolest, or the sexiest, or the nicest. It has always been about who was the most real, the most upfront - for example - things like softness showing through the brittleness (which I seen with Marcus and Lisa), the childish openness and delight of being on the show (like David) or loyalty and sticking by your friends (like Lisa and David.)

It’s a sad reflection on society, or at least the members of society that watch BB, that lying, rule breaking, having a low moral code - and caring more about your clothes and your hair than you do about your fellow man - are seen as admirable qualities to be rewarded with a large sum of money. Crazy.

I’ve never come across so many people in one place who lack acute observational skills or any real sense of cause and effect, and who think a hair - plucking silly little girl and a scheming lying man who puts so much effort into his appearance are idols to be championed and crowned as winners of a show that once had so much more promise and substance.
Shame on you. You’ll get the plastic winner you deserve. And I’ll be watching and laughing, for that’s all it is to me now - an entertaining observational study in the stupidity of BB fans. :laugh:
