I cant get the chat to work.....At all...


Any reason this aint working as i needed to use it last night.

Not sure there is a IE 1.6

Im on IE 5, and I know there is a IE 6, so maybe you are on one of those....

I have been using Mozilla lately, I find it more easier to use and it's got certain features which I like....

Keep trying! If still no luck let me know..

Anyway i have IE 6.I just checked the chat and it still doesnt work for me.

All i get is a grey screen.It says "press the (it just has a grey box with a red X through it here)button bellow to connect

Have a look at the thread that Princess Pink Pants started about this and you will see a screen shot of what the chat screen should look like.

Princess has been having this problem for ages and we're not sure why. The only thing that we have been able to think of is that she (and now it seems you) don't have the correct plugin loaded for it to work.

The thing was it was working up and till recently.Within the last few days i think.

Like you Matty, it was working fine up until a couple of days ago.

It should work Matt - I've used the chat room before (admittedly not recently) with no problem. All things on the PC that should be enabled are, so I think there may be a problem after the recent upgrade of the site? Especially as you are not the only one experiencing the problem.

I've just checked it for myself to see what the problem is and on the top line where it says Press the button below, etc the box where (I presume) the icon for the button is, is not working - it's just the white square with the red cross in. Then below - more or less taking up the rest of the page, is a large grey square - no pictures, no text nothing.

Help from anyone would be appreciated.

Ok - since the TiBB chatroom is causing problems, I decided to get a Chatroom for forum members only :dance:

Look at the top of the forum and you will see

Member List | Search | FAQ | Chatterbox | Todays posts | Stats

Click on Chatterbox and it will load up a forum chat room.

The page refreshes every 60 seconds or you can manually refresh it to read others comments...
