Whilst this is going to make David happy, I suspect that Vivienne's motives aren't really about wishing David happy birthday........

If anybody saw her recent appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, they'll know that - especially at the moment - she is making a lot of appearances to promote her manifesto, in essence 'hijacking' her status as a fashion designer to voice her opinions. Recently she has been campaigning the theories of environmentalist James Lovelock - about climate change, about how we're all headed straight for the dumper - and like Jonathan Ross, I think she will have seen Big Brother as a great opportunity to get her message out to those who might never have shown any interest. Hence her making a big point of mentioning her manifesto, the Active Resistance.

I was referring specifically to my opinion of Westwood, I'm not talking about general ones. You were acting as if I'd continue to rant about her outside of this thread. This may come as a shock to you, but Westwood's garbage campaign is of little importance to anybody, which is why she had to mention it in a letter to David for some free publicity -- this is the first I've heard of it, so it clearly isn't mentioned often in the news or whatever.
