The following is just my opinion, but here goes anyway.

Okay, so Marcus played the "rebel" whilst in the house, but 2 things just don't add up:

1) At the VERY beginning, Marcus was a stickler for the rules/tasks, and even got angry at Sree for not being serious during them. Suddenly, about 2-3 weeks into the show, he changed! But people couldn't see this, because most people aren't skilled enough to see these things.

The exception is a user here called El Proximo or something, who is pretty accurate in most of what I have seen him post on here.

2) When Marcus came out, he bent over backwards to ingratiate himself with the public, first by trying to shake their hands (a tactic Lisa used on BBBM, to sway the audience, which is why she was given an easy ride by them), and second by arse-licking everyone on DS by calling THEM ''legends''. Even the people who didn't like him, he even said he really respected them or some BS, which is TOTALLY out of the persona he created in the house.

I'm afraid, the ONLY real rebel in BB was Victor. Oh, and Science. But aside from that, real rebels are few and far between on BB.

Marcus, in my opinion, is not as genuine as he makes out to be, and is certainly no rebel in it's truest form.

Hi there. OK, you want some proper analysis - I'll give you some:

Firstly, regarding your post. I take a few points on board and have thought about them.

1. Just because Marcus 'changed' after a couple of weeks means nothing. He rebelled most of the time and said most of it wasn't serious (you either get him or you don't) - often had irony written all over him. In fact him and Victor were indeed very similar; Victor often had tongue in cheek moments, and would ingratiate himself with BB in the DR and make little jokes and play the game. He WASN'T all rebel at all and that was the point - he was playing a bit of a game, while still being himself - just like Marcus.

2. All HMs ingratiate themselves with the public, interviews etc. on eviction. Nobody wants to be disliked (human nature) - apart from McCririck (lol). Your argument there is null and void.

Now onto Proxy and in response to another of your posts (below)...





Er, excuse me but El Proxy has 'hijacked' a number of 'my' threads (although nobody 'owns' a thread). The hatred and bile spewed from her says so much about this unique, lonesome forum member. Proxy has made a number of accusations (personal and detailed) about Freddie. They haven't been forgotten. This is not because I am such a die-hard fan that I cannot see Freddie has his faults and was silly at times, but Proxy has overstepped the mark on a number of occassions regarding both Freddie and Marcus. Indeed a number of slanderous comments have been made. It is because they have so many fans that this lonesome Lisa fan has had to over-do in order to try and redress the balance.

It is because you singled out Proxy in your post that you received such a negative response. Either you are a genuine lurker with genuine points; or you are Proxy's brother.

When did Marcus say he was a rebel?

Didnt he say he would play BB as a game because thats what it really was, didnt he also say what happens in the house stays in the house. As for the tasks etc, Marcus always said throughout the early part of his stay in the house, to put maximum effort into the task, would produce better results, getting the task sorted earlier and would allow the housemates to feel a greater sense of acheivement.

Towards the end of his stay, he probably was a bit hacked off with some of the other housemates and thought why bother.

As for when Marcus came out of the house he didnt try to shake peoples hands, he did indeed shake people's hands. This was because people offered him their hands, according to you that is him trying to ingratiate himself with the public.

As for the two threads you posted neither was started by Marcus he simply responds to them, but you will notice in the second he is honest and open, thats if you needed to read them to "know" the content.

I bow to your superior intellect as well as to El proximo, after all this is she poster who didnt realise the prize for the winner was in pounds sterling and not in dollars.

If neither of you can accept they go in to the house to partake in a game show and play it the way they decide to, then i would suggest therapy. A good reality check sounds like what the doctor ordered for both of your personalities.

Environmental adjustment is well researched/documented...all mammals engage in it. It's an evolutionary gig. It's wise to be cautious in new environments; give's one time to asses etc. It's why people tend to feel a little tentative in new jobs; parties where we dont no anyone; kids entering school etc.

Now in the ad break after leaving the house, Davina gave me a quick run down on Grace (never heard of her before, and only know what she does after reading this thread) - she told me she liked me so I thought "ok, cool". I still think a lot of folk get confused about what it means to be a housemate. Basically, it means you have to be a piece of performing meat until the contract expires on Sept. 6th. I was expecting far worse at the interview, and at the same time had a whole highlite reel of cusses that I could have employed to vocally batter Davina (I had the term "beaky nosed barge arse" ready and waiting to be fired haha), Grace and Andi Peters should I need them (Davina asked me what I thought about Andi - I said he was certainly no Phillip Schofield ). Then I remembered I wasn't in the house anymore, and that maybe I'd be better off without the cursing. Davina was lovely (she and George Lamb insisted I was the best HM of all time - I told them that they probably say that to everyone, but they seemed hurt when I said that, and assured me that they meant it.) so I didn't need to curse her. I can't even remember what Andi Peters actually said, but as soon as he said it I knew he hadn't been following the show so I didn't dignify anything he said with much of a response. However, I did flash him a "don't ****** with me stare, then he shut his mouth and didn't say a peep after that. I gathered just by body language that Grace had to do bitchy stuff so I was ready, and what little of it came was very tame IMO. I just don't get why people say I model myself on Wolverine just because HE looks like ME. I don't read comics. I sculpt toys so I know all the characters but I hardly know anything about them at all. Her saying what she did in a derogatory way was just her playing her role, as I did in the house. The best roles are extensions of ourselves, so it was all good. I gathered my Mum had already told folk the truth, and that all the real fans would know who lives where with regards to me. For a split second the Dark Horse almost let rip, but I chose not to. After the interview Grace rushed me, told me she liked me, and that she'd get into trouble for taking photos - but she did anyway. I thought she was nice. You guys are all certainly entitled to your opinions, but I had a really nice time meeting everyone on eviction night (and beyond - Dom Joly and Neil Mallarkey were great earlier). Thanks to all off you who "fought my corner" here - you lot are legends! Thanks also to the folks who don't particularly like me. As fans, I love you all - if it wasn't for each and every one of you there would be no BB, and I wouldn't have had the great time that I did.

Over the years I have grown tiried of Big Brother and its presenters in particular Devina (who is no where as clever as she thinks) manipulating the situation to get the winner they want. What is the point of a paid vote if individuals are portrayed in an obviously distorted fashion which then influence the outcome? On occasions BB vilify those they do not like for example Makosi(BB6)and turn others into heroes who are sometimes vile and manipulative like themselves eg Marcus the psyco.
Leave Noirin alone, she did no worse than Sara(BB9) who was a blatant ***** tease who was then nicely ‘positioned’ to win £25K last year.
Leave Siavash alone, he is a genuine, fair guy with bags of personality. And in my opinion currently the most deservining to win of this year crop. BB need to stop trying to blacken his character and select clips etc to show him in a bad light. Be fair enough is enough!
BB's cruely portrayed the lovely Katt last year as a winging attention seeker just because they realised she was in a position to win. Devina the spiteful cow then enjoyed humiliating her by dragging her out unprepared in her dressing gown for her eviction.

The following is just my opinion, but here goes anyway.

Okay, so Marcus played the "rebel" whilst in the house, but 2 things just don't add up:

1) At the VERY beginning, Marcus was a stickler for the rules/tasks, and even got angry at Sree for not being serious during them. Suddenly, about 2-3 weeks into the show, he changed! But people couldn't see this, because most people aren't skilled enough to see these things.

The exception is a user here called El Proximo or something, who is pretty accurate in most of what I have seen him post on here.

2) When Marcus came out, he bent over backwards to ingratiate himself with the public, first by trying to shake their hands (a tactic Lisa used on BBBM, to sway the audience, which is why she was given an easy ride by them), and second by arse-licking everyone on DS by calling THEM ''legends''. Even the people who didn't like him, he even said he really respected them or some BS, which is TOTALLY out of the persona he created in the house.
