This is exactly what I suspected....Throughout the show Charlie has demonstrated hypocritical behaviour that shows v clear signs that he is trying to 'win the public' over. If you want me to write a paragraph on this I will...but your (The Long-Run's) statement re him being a realist, humble, and not praticularly thinking about winning is just completely false. He has consistently had his eye on the winning position, whether he constantly thought it was in the bag is somewhat irrelevant anyway. To give one example, it was pretty suspect when both Isaac and Noirin came out of that house alluding to the fact Charlie had said he would use the prize money to help his mum. Clearly that alone points to a certain intention or aspiration. The fact the conversation ever took place to begin with
