I'm not so sure. I think she genuinely likes Science (although who really knows with makosi)?

On Friday, she would have heard the big cheers for Derek and Eugene as well, so surely it would have been easier for her in the house, if she aligned herself with Derek.

Makosi is not using science. Remeber what semed like a David and Goliath battle between Science and Maxwell. She gave a very impassioned speech for science to stay. She has said in the past that she see science as her little brother. She refused to take sides when Derek put her on the spot the other day. Furthermore if she wanted to use science and bask in his outside the house popularity she would have defended him this week against the housemates and stood up to them with him but she didn't

Tanser, she has not rebelled against the group. She has blanked him with everyone else. She is now talking to him cos she has probably seen the error of her ways and genuinely likes him. They all heard the cheers last friday. Since then they have all been nasty to him. So if she is talking to him now its not because she has suddenly remembered 6 days later that the public love him. I know its not cool to like Makosi but that doesn't mean her every action is cold and calculating without compassion. It's quite sad that people have to use her every action as evidence of how bad she is even if that action is completely innocent.

We all have to remember that demonising people in such a way can go too far and makes us class them as sub-human and excuses our poor behaviour to them. This is self-evident in something as harmless as unnecessary boos and progresses to more serious and sinsister actions as throwing stuff at people and death threats. People should remember they are only contestants in a game show. They are not child molesters, killers or terrorists that should warrant that level of hate.

When it goes beyond pantomine and real hatred is apparent we should all look within ourselves and ask are we as bigoted, racist, homophobic, sexist and as bullying as the people we claim to despise.
